Okay, so I love that you think I should stand out – that’s so sweet, especially coming from the prettiest mascot in the world! But if we can be honest? I don’t know superheroes! In fact, I barely know Black Widow and Scarlet Witch; I only know of them because they’re so popular but I’ve never watched Wandavision or an Avengers movie. I think I’d much rather be matching a billion other Black Widows or Wandas than go to parties in a costume that no one recognizes or wants to take pictures with me in. We’ve evolved past ‘who wore it better’ too, so getting a chance to match with other beautiful, fascinating girls gives me more excuses to make friends throughout the night! Besides, like you said, the characters are from comic books, so me dressing as one of them isn’t me emulating any actress in particular! It’s emulating a drawing from like a million years ago! I didn’t know one of the actresses was a meanie about her own character though – is it Lizzie or ScarJo? And also, now you have me curious, what underrated comic book lady would you recommend for me if that was the sort of thing I was into? Do any of the others look like me at all? Or like you? Because I bet you’d so rock a badass superhero lady too!

Yoyo: I'm honestly a LITTLE offended that you think Take Your Favorite Sophomore Out Clubbing Day is fake but I'll forgive you as long as you go out with me tonight! I tried going out on my own the other night and APPARENTLY they don't like it when you walk in wearing night vision goggles.

kyohamada:
The main draw to the event was that the proceeds went to a great cause, but everyone was always on his case about working too much so he figured the couple of hours spent with the basket-maker if he won anything would be a great way to prove to the nay-sayers that he did in fact know how to unwind and have fun. It was almost weirdly perfect that the person who made the basket he ended up winning just so happened to be one of those nay-sayers. He had to laugh to himself when that little tidbit was revealed, and for a brief moment wondered if maybe she had set it up that way. It was not uncommon for the twins to mention bribery as a means of getting their way, after all.
There wasn’t really enough time to entertain the theory, however, as seconds later she was approaching – if you could really call it that. It was more like she stumbled her way over, but that was just her way. Years of knowing her had prepared Kyo for a less-than-graceful entrance and it was second nature to him at this point to have his arms out at the ready to catch her in case she actually toppled over. “You trip more than a toddler learning to walk, you know that?” he teased, accepting the basket from her. ‘Is this about to get weird?’ he couldn’t help but wonder. This was Aspen they were talking about, and it was no secret how she felt about him. Truthfully he’d kind of just ignored it growing up, written it off as a phase when they were younger. And now here they were, her feelings seemingly just as apparent as they were back then. And while Kyo cared for her, he was just never sure he could return her affections.
But he’d also never tried. To him, Aspen had always been his childhood friend, almost like another sister to him. What would happen if he actually gave this a shot? He wasn’t quite sure he knew how to do that, but if there was ever a time to give a try this would be it, wouldn’t it? “So,” with a smirk, Kyo reached into the basket and pulled out one of the miniature bottles of alcohol, the usual teasing light in his eyes returning as he brought his gaze back to meet hers. “Trying to get the winner drunk? Was that the whole plan with the basket?”

Zoe: if i were to create a mechanical contraption for the purpose of jump scares where would the best place to put it be? i know it's that season, but i also know that not everyone is into those things.
Aspen: You should sell it to haunted houses, duh! Or to me and Austin, but I feel like people who walk into haunted houses are a little more prepared for it than... well, people who happen across our path just because.

Dijon: WHY NOT?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT?
Dijon: WOMAN, IF YOU EXPECT ME TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS NO QUESTIONS ASKED, YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR MIND.
Aspen: HAS THE FACT THAT WE'VE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE BEFORE I WAS EVEN OUT OF THE WOMB MEAN NOTHING TO YOU???
Aspen: I'm trying to save you from TOP SECRET FREDERICKSON TWIN SHENANIGANS that were intended for a different target!
ekatarinaromanov:
Okay, but like, the real question – should I dress as Black Widow or Wanda Maximoff for Halloween? They’re totally the hot girl costumes of this year and it’s never too early to start planning!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of both of them, especially their comic counterparts... but why would you want to be dressed up in the same costume as everyone else when there are so many other badass superhero ladies that are overlooked that you could be instead? Then you’d stand out more, and you wouldn’t be emulating a woman who can’t even discuss her own character in interviews without being hella offensive about it.

Zoe: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You know I'd make you anything you want! A quiet and data gathering robot would be a little hard but also kinda fun. I'm already picturing a fly shaped robot with a camera attached that sends real time updates on the target. 😱
Zoe: oh my gosh yes!!! Who's first? We can like fill a room with all their favorite things and then surprise them with cake and everything!

Dijon: Yeah, no, definitely don't get a hamster; those things die if you look at them funny and knowing you, we'd get stuck going to some very expensive hamster funeral and I just can't 😂 well, if anyone believes him over you, they're not worth your time, babe. You've got all of us who know how amazing you are and everyone else probably knows it too, they're just intimidated by how fucking rad you and your crew are. They're all intimidated by all of us, really. And pfffft, you're not going to be forever alone just because one boy was needy. Zoe already didn't like dating and Heath's BEEN too busy in the lab for it, but I bet he'd change his tune if you talked to him! (Being alone together is a good start! I don't know, lie on a bed together and play video games? Touch him a lot casually?)
Dijon: FINE, I'LL USE MY BRAINS ON HOW TO DO IT but only because I love you so much 😘 it's almost a shame I won't actually bid on your basket, cause I'm sure it'll be epic. Superheroes have hero and sidekick duos so a one to one ratio isn't THAT unusual!

heath-lemon:
I’m so not the person to ask about this. As far as Superheroes go? Superman is probably my least favorite. I’ll take a Batman movie or show over him any day, and those have been over done so much. Why not turn it into like a viewing party though, that way you don’t have to suffer alone if it turns out really bad.
dolcedicaramello:
Honestly, I think I’m just over the whole superhero thing at this point. I was really psyched when it started but now that every other show that gets greenlit is Marvel or DC I’m just…meh. And like Smallville pretty much did the Superman origin story as well and as thoroughly as it could. It was on for almost a decade! Plus, the selfish, slightly thirsty side of me doesn’t find Hoechlin or whatever the name of the female lead is cute. So eh.
