Mika Yamada’s (@m.y1010) initial inspiration for her “aya-moji” (color characters)? Kimono artisans from the 1600s through the 1800s. “The more I learned about design patterns and their names, the more impressed I was with the creativity of the designers back in the Edo period,” says Tokyo-based Mika, who shared a new, intricate paper aya-moji every day last year. “I cut out the character 桜 [cherry tree] when cherry blossom season was officially announced, and a combination of the character 大 [big] and snowflake patterns for the 21st season on the lunar calendar to express the solar term 大雪 [major snow].” Mika hopes to continue this daily practice in 2016.

There’s no strict prerequisite for an animal’s selection into Sabina Gibson’s (@mountroyalmint) magical handcrafted menagerie. “I may be inspired by a nature photograph, folk story, fashion trend or a particular color or type of material,” the full-time Toronto artist and new mom says. Her creatures range in size from teeny-tiny to life-size, but most are small enough to fit into your hand. Asking Sabina to choose a favorite is tough, but she does have a soft spot for bears and unicorns. “Bears have a chubby, round form which I find very pleasing and sweet,” she says. “Unicorns are perfectly magical and people of all ages find them irresistible.”

We are not here to be better than one another!! We are here to be the same as everyone else!! We all come first!! LIVES MATTER.

Some days seem really really hard but you have to keep walking putting one foot in front of the other, sleeping and waking, and eventually, you will awaken to a beautiful stronger you, better than the beautiful person you have been through all the struggles. Being aspie or in my case low functioning autism (i boarder that margine n often question that diagnosis)... Makes some simple every day tasks a little bit tricky. So on the weekend i finally figured out how to plait my own hair starting ontop of my head. I can now do it very well so it seems but its not perfect.
A twist on Homophobia VS Heterophobia
So while in commenting on a homosexual male fiend's post which initially landed with me being told to F off because my point of view offended him so much, I came to realise that we in General are using Homo and Hetero Phobia incorrectly!!
I'm not openly bi but a few people know I am, now all of you know it too *sigh*
And as you all know I am aspie (low functioning Autism) so this is merely my point of view...
Here we go... anyways...
Homo = Same and Hetero = Different right? Homosexual = Same sex and Heterosexual = opposite sex correct?
Well I am a girl, so If i was Homosexual I would only be interested in Girls right? then wouldn't Homophobia mean i'd only be scared of the same sex as I? not another same sex couples for example, 2 men being in a relationship?
Anyway this is the picture that got me thinking about it and Instead of Homophobia I decided it was actually HETEROPHOBIA why? because Hetero means different, and in human nature we don't like anything that is different from us... so this is actually Heterophobia instead!!
I also disagree with the photo obviously. I myself personally don't even feel comfortable being in the same rest room as any other person, let alone being in a public rest room =/
So as follows is the comments from me and the person who quite rudely after I PM'd them and tried to explain told me I was hiding behind my autism to be a bitch and to f off... I wasn't being a bitch but i think I might take it upon myself from now on to be a bitch to that person just so they know the difference between my normal inquisitive aspie self and being a bitch...
I think for mentalities to change and for "homophobia" to become non-existent we really need to look at the words we associate with in order to make a change to begin with. Homophobia is not the fear of homosexuals homophobia is the fear of one's own gender!! It is Heterophobia!!! Peeps need to get it right!!

first car
I am such a proud little aspie, on Thursday i bought my very first car.
its a 95 ford festiva and with a bit of love and care and help from my mum, it is now looking as good as new. It is a manual car, which for me has always been a bit iffy to drive, but I am handling it very well currently.
So I am a very proud aspie, who has bought her first car and drive it. for me this is a big step forward for my independence as an Aspergers Adult.
