This is a great story but I do recognize it is not for everyone, it might not be you cup of tea if:

Rape/Non-Con, sexual, mental and verbal abuse and heavier topics trigger you.

If you dislike anti-Damon Salvatore fanfiction/speech.

Otherwise this piece of work is mainly focused on Elena getting over Damon after all he put her through (I do recommend you read the first part that is a 9k words one-shot but you will do just fine if you do not read it) making her relationship with the Mikaelson brothers very slow-burn, although enjoyable.
