Elie Saab Fall 2017.
Paris Fashion Week.
Love this, it's so dramatic and whimsical.
When the mind is impatient
It is insecure of its own potential
Addicted to the winding well of discontent
That seems full of resource
Never fully quenched
This matrix of matter
Yields only what a fleshy mass of muscle
Deems worthy
Of our emotional state.
Perception.
This reality is flimsy
It changes with the current
Through unpredictable, winding resvisions
It compels us
To keep moving
No matter how frantic
The mind must keep
Twisting,
Awaiting the grounding that
Must surely come?

Alexander McQueen was a genius 😍👏
Praying to a God (I’m Not Certain)
“...from the crazy reach of sorrow. Let me forget about today, until tomorrw” - Bob Dylan- Tambourine Man
I stare out into the black Trying to glimpse the shore Of that endless sea Praying to a god I’m not sure is only me I’m exiled to those whispers Where forgotten promises once lined the shore
A repetition of memories edited Piecing the changing landscapes
“it’s you and it’s me” Whispers the hidden depths of the sea
As the writing etched in sand Freely fades to black To evoke what was borrowed
From the reach of crazy sorrow. Let me forget about today Until Tomorrow.

you could kill a man in any of these dresses, and pretty sure no jury would convict you. those are killing-men dresses, that’s what i’m saying
He remains a perpetual apparition as he dances on the brim
of archetypes unknown
Archetypes Unknown
He is the first man who has roused such passionate imaginings, steeping me in fantasy his image taking on many shapes, a nebulous twisting, curling- fluidly dancing on the brim of my mind haunting the thoughts I keep safe in my secrecy.
We never communicate in words finding form a superficial nuisance instead drawn to the conversations which waft through the murky depths of the subconscious our eyes resistant, yet compelled to bind in union, revealing vulnerable truths that our fears fail to mask
In the first moments of meeting there was a raw understanding an unspoken connection which walks heavy on the plains, digging deeper than primal cognizance an unnerving chemistry that tears the barriers between illusion and reality A continual fog drifting between us beautiful and elusive He remains a perpetual apparition that does not conform to definition or systems a residing mystery in my dreams I simultaneously crave and fear this loss of control as he dances on the brim of archetypes unknown..

Astronomers Have Found the First Earth-Sized, Habitable Zone Planet
Astronomers Have Found the First Earth-Sized, Habitable Zone Planet
Scientists have announced the discovery of Kepler-186f, a faraway planet that’s perhaps the most Earth-like yet discovered. It’s the same size as our home world, and at the right distance from its parent star to have liquid water. So, have we at last discovered Earth 2?
“The ultimate goal of all this searching for exoplanets – the real reason we’re doing this – is to answer the question ‘are we…

Conversations with Pluto
“I can't. It's just too intense,”
she stares down past her right shoulder.
“I know it'll change our dynamic, I know things will never be the same, but I'm crazy about you”
He stares wide-eyed, dreamily intent on the eyes that turn back to him
“you barely know me”
“That's the crazy part.”
“I don't think I'm ready to dive head first into this”
he stirs sensations in her so deeply her bones quiver in anticipation
“Me either, but here we are, standing inches apart. I can feel you breathing deeply. I could light a cigarette off your body heat, and god dammit, I'm gripped in that heat.”
he grabs her shoulders briefly, just to relax his grip at the sensation of her skin he kisses her passionately and then stops immediately at the ferocity of emotion it evokes she stares at him breathless a transformation occurs
“I need you, desperately”
they embrace tenderly making love fervently
until dawn.

Anna Pavlova
Cradled in Time
I remember locking eyes at first I remember feeling compelled
I remember the songs that cradled us in time and drowned us in the vast beauty of fantasy
I remember kissing you on the church steps at night when religion was closed intoxicated on your lips
I remember holding your hand when you were vulnerable with all the insecurities that you felt safe revealing to me those tears that bound us tightly, where we were safe together.
I remember dancing slowly in your room hypnotized by your embrace The moment we realized we couldn't bare being apart when we moved in together
I remember passionate nights
I remember laying under the stars by the Atlantic while a fire cried out
I remember how you sang of our names laid out in the stars, destined....
...I remember when things began to change when our insecurities were no longer our bond when we started wanting different things
I remember cold nights and icy tears nights you would stay out and I wouldn't know of you until the morning Your face wrought with guilt and animosity
I remember the bitter fights that tore us both to pieces the moment we realized we couldn't stand to be together
The separation the lonely thoughts
Longing for the depths of understanding and belonging, that had immersed us...
...Many years have passed I sometimes hear your name or see photographs of you now and again
and I see how different we've become how distant we've drifted
and yet I still remember the first fire that burned archaic inside of me the first relationship that sunk to the very subterranean parts of sensation in the pit of every feeling both human and beyond your imprint burned into my heart My first love, I remember well.
...And I wouldn't change anything not even the outcome...

Metamorphosis (They Say We're Made of Stardust)
...scattering stars like dust... -Rumi
I've seen the sun rise up and sink down I've seen the tides of the primordial pull at the sand just to overwhelm it over and over again
I've seen star filled nights that take your breath away I've seen rolling hills that are more vivid and lovely then even our minds can illustrate
I've loved countless people and been in true love with few
I've seen the moon dazzle many bodies of water, with it's ethereal charm
I've seen the desperate fall and reform
I've seen particles changing rearranging
I've lived through it
I've lived
many nights steady as candlelight I've lived infinite moments, Serenaded an even, limitless bloom
In constant flux I remain inherent, an everlasting metamorphosis scattering stars like dust
