This is how it went down right?
The book is already written, so trying to PUSH or CONVINCE other fans your theories are going to happen doesn’t change anything.
Just enjoy your part of the fandom. 😁
Based on the inflammatory language Elain antis use, you would think she was Maeve, meanwhile, this is her˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀
ACOTAR Chapter 29
ACOWAR Chapter 16
ACOWAR Chapter 79
...I get the distinct impression that they react to her the way the Valg react to Yrene.
.✦ ݁˖The dark and the hateful fear the light.✦ ݁˖
Why read the book when you can make up your own character development, then get mad at the author for not doing what you wanted.
But they told me pink and blue don’t mean anything…🥺💙🩷
It’s all a trick don’t you know.
All this marketing is a trick

*Azriel & Elains power being described similarly🌸🦇🥔🍞🩷💙*
Can’t wait for our spy couple
Gwynriels scare me with how much they twist things.
They believe:
Gwyn has red hair and turquoise eyes (she has coppery brown hair and and teal eyes, a dark blue-green color)
Gwyn is a mermaid (she is a river-nymph descendant, not even half, a slimy human-like creature, not half-fish and obviously not from the sea)
Gwyn's rescue was romantic (a scene of pure trauma and it being Azriel's mission, saving the priestesses and just him doing the basic covering her nudity after she was sexually abused and then taking off, then there's a romantic rescue scene right there when Azriel wasn't in a mission, he was worried about Elain, wanted to sacrifice himself for her, carried her back to safety while being wounded and then received a kiss on the cheek, him all fucked-up with wounds but still cradling her to his chest, but oh no the other "scene" is romantic... right)
Gwyn in danger and Azriel's siphons flaring means he was worried about her (he was thinking about a man instead of worrying about Gwyn, and he was worried about all of them, but even more about Nesta, also Azriel's eyes glowed when Elain was in danger instead of just something so dry linked to his powers)
Gwyn has the necklace (we don't fucking know, and she would probably be uncomfortable as fuck to have it if she found out its emotional meaning and how it reached her)
Gwyn making Az feel sparks, lulled and lured, hearing silent songs are hints that she is his mate (when it's her powers acting on him because those things aren't mating bond signs dumbasses)
Gwyn is Azriel's love interest (when it's actually Elain since Az was created as the third brother, met her and had all these romantic scenes and romance building and now they want to fuck each other)
Gwyn will be the next FMC (when it's actually Elain since she was created as the third sister)
Gwyn is the third sister (when it's actually Elain because... uh... she is the third sister)
Canon Gwyn IS NOT fandom Gwyn
Here is a lovely list that’s been sitting in my notes of things people commented on just ONE of my old Elriel posts on Facebook… read at your own risk.
And now with the Alex and Ani bracelet… THIS is who Elain really is. “KINDNESS, the heart of her character.” 🥹
I also love SJM herself said Elain would be her best friend, and also if she was not a writer she would love to be a florist.
So no, she’s not going to be evil, or betray her friends and family, and most certainly will not be written out. (😂)
Elain Archeron is here to stay people… our next FMC 🌹🥰

So everyone is wrong or lying about Elain’s book
All these businesses saying, the main characters are the sisters and the bat boys
All these mainstream media articles with authors, pointing out that Elain is most likely next with the Love interest of Azriel, where she figures out this weird mate bond with Lucien
That Sarah J Maas is just trying to fool us.
That Sarah J Maas is getting her team to approve all these products that have nothing to do with the next books or series
That the marketing team from Bloomsberry and Sarah J maas are just lying about the colours that match two characters perfectly.
💙🩷
So everyone is lying or everyone is missing who the actual story is about…..
They want us to believe that all of these professionals have no idea what they’re doing. that is what part of this fandom wants us to believe. Or are they trying to convince themselves ?
It’s OK to have a ship that isn’t going to be endgame. Just enjoy it and stop trying to make it canon
That's literally Az and Elain standing next to each other
Yes
It is so obvious that I am dumbfounded every time I still see people saying it could be Gwynriel?
It’s ok if your ship is not endgame. Stop trying to force it to be canon just enjoy your ship for fandom fun…🤦♀️
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Gwyn...seems to be getting a lot of promo for a next book pov character.............
Another day....another promo...no gwyn
Once again....nothing for Gwyneth.
Gwyn is only popular in the online fandom
i can't wait for nature to be wrong 😝😝😝
Facts and canon can feel Oppressive and Evil, when you are determined to live in a delusion.

EVIL ELRIELS
After this line in acosf
Amren shook her head, hair swaying. “Nothing is a fluke. The Cauldron’s power flows through Nesta, and could use her as a puppet without her knowledge. It wanted those weapons Made, and thus they were Made. It wanted Rhysand to have them and thus the blacksmith brought them to you. To you, Rhysand, not to Nesta. And do not forget that Nesta herself—and Elain, with whatever powers she has—is here. Feyre is here. All three sisters blessed by fate and gifted with powers to match your own. Feyre alone doubles your strength. Nesta makes you unstoppable. Especially if she were to march into battle wearing the Mask. No enemy could stand against her. She’d slay Beron’s soldiers, then raise them from the dead and turn them on him.” (acosf)
Nobody is fucking leaving Night Court.
For people who claim to love acosf so much you guys seem to read it with your asses.
The books are so so so much more interesting than a side character.
Why I struggle with reading GA and EL theories
One thing I think gets lost in these “ ship” discussions is the difference between a passing detail and narrative emphasis.
Authors don't spend pages on something by accident.
Elain rescue scene
the truth teller scene
Azriel carrying Elain over the threshold to then take her into the Garden
Azriel figures out Elain is a seer
Azriel taking the potatoes from Elain and making sure everyone waited for her before starting dinner.
The headache medicine soltice gift scene
Etc.
When a story slows down, lingers on imagery, dedicates multiple paragraphs to describing an interaction, has other characters comment on it, ties it to symbolism, and then makes that moment pivotal to the plot—that's the narrative telling you to pay attention.
Azriel giving Elain Truth-Teller wasn't a throwaway moment.
Feyre literally pauses to describe it like a painting. The scene is given weight, imagery, and emotional significance. Then Elain uses that same knife to kill the King of Hybern, one of the defining moments that ends the war.
That's how stories create meaning.
So yes, I struggle when fandom turns a one-line interaction, a glance, or someone lifting an eyebrow into "proof" while simultaneously dismissing entire scenes that the narrative itself put under a spotlight.
You don't have to ship Elriel. But at some point we're talking about narrative structure, not preferences. One side keeps pointing to moments the author spent chapters building. The other keeps pointing to an eyebrow.
More Thoughts From My Husband in ACOWAR
Follow-up to this post
He just finished reading the scenes where Azriel saved Elain and gave her Truth Teller.
"There was no pushback about Azriel going on a suicide mission to save Elain...even though he's one of the most essential warriors...and it's right before a massive battle where he's needed."
"The group had this whole cost benefit analysis discussion that made it seem like not everyone was worth saving...some of them would've left Briar behind. But they saw the value of saving Elain." It's almost like...she's integral to the future of the story and has an important place within the IC, and not just as Feyre's sister.
"Azzy boy gave Elain Truth Teller and then told her she wouldn't need it? [Laughs] He's still going to find a way to protect her even if he's injured. He's obviously into her."
"If it was just platonic, why not give Truth Teller to Nesta? Or Feyre? Like if it didn't mean anything, then why did he give it to Elain specifically?" Indeed.
"I know that Cassian and Nesta will obviously end up together, but I think the author has done even more to set up Elain and Azriel. There has been so much in this book to connect those two together, from him realizing she's a Seer to the rescue scene to giving her Truth Teller."
Bonus: I asked him what's on the cover of the book.
"Um, Truth Teller, shadows, and Elain's flowers?"
When I told him some people don't think it's Truth Teller, he said: "Is there definitive proof that it's Truth Teller? No. But a reasonable person would assume that it is because that was such a pinnacle scene in the book."
Stay tuned for more after he finishes the book. 🩷🩵
Go smart husband!!!!!
“Pinnacle Scene in the book” 📣📣📣
This is where I struggle with a lot of the fandom; certain shippers that promote endgame ships, don’t understand emphasis in text .
They think a scene where Azriel raises his eyebrows in a passing comment is more important than this.
