My daughter was killed recently, she was crushed by rubble, caused to fall during a super squabble.” The woman admitted after a moment. “Very famous parents indeed there, chickee” she mused, then taking the others hand and gave it shake “Autumn T Page, not at all famous” she almost chuckled.

“Oh my God, I am so sorry for your loss. So that explains how I ended up in concrete,” she nodded, now aware that her injury wasn’t just a freak accident. Athen laughed softly, “They don’t make it seem like a big deal, they just do their jobs they’re passionate about.” She smiled as they shook hands, “It’s nice to meet you, Ms. Autumn T Page, you have quite the stage name, you should be famous, you have the name for it.”

“I was adopted as a young baby, that I know, my parents were very upfront about it. But there is no way an adoption agency would split up twins at all, it’s just not heard of and I doubt that your mother would lie to you at all” She shrugged herself. “And your parents never cottoned on, so do you feel they didn’t notice?” she wondered, furrowing her eyebrows. “I could always give it a shot, I can’t say I’m the best teacher with these things-….Just so you don’t get killed trying”

“I’ll have to ask her about that one then, I’m sure her mother told her she could’ve had a twin but who knows. You two have the same face.” She stated then shrugged, leaving that alone. “I don’t know if they ever noticed, if they did they didn’t make a point of pointing that out. That’s a great disclaimer, I don’t believe I’ll get killed but there’s no harm in trying right?”

“Another one who fell victim to the squabbles of supers…Someone needs to stop their tirade on this city” The woman said with a shake of her head, it irritated her greatly how they could stomp around the city with no care for the well beings of others. “Famous parents?” she wondered, arching an eyebrow at her and tilting her head.

“I guess so, I was just I guess caught in a cross fire, I don’t really know what happened. I was walking home for work and ended up with a car on my leg.” She nodded as she was trying to sound a bit casual. Athena nodded with a smile. “Yeah, Toni Astrid-Blanche and Clara Blanche-Atrid are my parents.” She stated, “Both incredible women, sorry introductions are a thing that people do before you decide to give your lifestory. I’m Athena.” She offered her hand with a smile.

The metal woman folded her muscular arms and stared at the other, then looking confused as the picture was shown to her, the woman on the picture looking exactly like she had done before the transformation of metal “Curious…” she murmured in her low tone “Some sort of doppleganger perhaps? I feel I would know if I had a twin athena,” she wondered, then blinking away the thought “Help you with what exactly?”

“Doppleganger? yeah the twin thing could be a stretch since my mother told me that she’s an only child so who knows.” She stated with a slight shrug. “I um, ever since I was born I had this ability to do these things to all things metal.. I accidentally broke my mother’s coffee maker when I was six and I didn’t know I had these abilities until I was a teenager but I pushed it aside, do you think you can help me use them? I don’t want to be a hero or anything I’m just curious about these powers I guess you can call them.”

“I can assure you it wasn’t me, I wish it was as then someone could have been there for you” she sighed, looking to Clara before looking back to her first birn “SHh, no one knew what was going to happen” she soothed “What matters is that you’re okay and your mom and I discussed it and we fixed you up a room at home, so you’re staying with us until you’re better”

She frowned, now coming to terms that the woman who brought her to the hospital wasn’t her mother. She had a feeling she wasn’t, even though she desperately wanted it to be. Athena sighed softly as she stared at the cast on her leg. She looked up at Toni then smiled, “Okay, that’s probably for the best.” She stated, “I missed living with you both.”

Amber smiled over at the blonde looking over the dress. “My mother looks stunning in everything believe me.” She said “Or at least she did last time I saw her. It’s been a while.” She sighed and looked over. “Do you work here?” Amber asked. It was always nice to get a suggestion on the nicest thing to steal and you never wanted to take something when someone was looking. You wanted them to think you might have but have no proof and always wonder.  “You look way too well dressed to be a shop girl.” She pointed out. It was a compliment, sort of.

“Mothers always look good in anything, I don’t know how they do it.” She stated then shook her head, “Oh no, no I don’t work here. I’m actually one of the designers who created a few pieces in here,” she told her as she glanced around the store. “I’ve only worked in a few retail jobs when I was in high school.” She confessed, “Well I hope you find a great dress for your mother.”

“I really like your name. Your moms are very creative.” She said softly, “I mean, it’s kind of impossible for them not to have crossed paths in the industry. Are you in fashion too?” Diana watched with a smile as Ruffles welcomed the attention, wagging his tail and reciprocating with some puppy kisses. “He likes you. He’s a flirt but he doesn’t just kiss anybody.” She added with a shy chuckle. “That’s very kind of you. Thank you. I just want it to be over.”

“Thank you, yeah they are quite the creative team.” She grinned as she spoke of her mothers. “I am, I’m a junior fashion designer at my mother’s company. I guess it’s safe to say I was bitten by the fashion bug.” she laughed as she glanced up from Ruffles. “Oh he does, huh? I am very honored, Ruffles!” she grinned at him then rose up onto her feet. “I completely understand that. Well if you ever need a friend or a hangout session to take your mind off don’t hesitate to call.”

Amber walked the halls of the mall with a pile of bags over her arms. The fancy for a shopping trip had struck her and she was ever a slave to her whims. She looked over a dress tilting her head to the side. She looked over. “What do you think of this?” She asked a random passer by. “I’m looking for a present for my mother and I want it to be perfect.” She added by way of explanation. Granted her mother would probably just love the fact that of every article on her arms right now she’d bought– lunch. And even that she’d only paid a part of. The rest she had slipped to the people behind her or pulled away before someone noticed she had it.

Athena always took it upon herself to go see the House of Astrid designs that were put on display and the pieces were treated properly. The blonde was checking out a mannequin when she heard a question that sparked her interest and her fashion sense beamed, she loved helping with anything fashion related as it was her life after all. “Oh it’s perfect, I’m sure your mother would look stunning in it.”

“Can never say no to a good muffin, it’s that sweet tooth of mine” Autumn mused, eyeing the girl “So what happened to you if that isn’t too personal, I can’t see that your leg got all smashed up on your own say so? It wasn’t one of those bad sorority stories you hear of? Though you don’t look that type” she wondered, gesturing to the girls leg.

“My personal favorite is chocolate chip though I can never turn down a blueberry,” she stated with a nod. Athena glanced down at her boot then nodded, “Oh I was walking home from work and before I knew a car landed on my leg. Y’know I tried that whole sorority thing in college but they didn’t like me after I told them that I wasn’t going to get them a signature from my parents, they’re all very catty girls, not my scene.” she nodded.

“Can I help you?” The Hero asked, having been informed someone had requested to speak to her in the Originals Tower lobby “I’m training and I don’t like to miss my sets” she sighed, looking at the girl, her eyes narrowing as she felt like she recognized her “Ahh, the young woman under the car” The metal woman realized. @athenaxastrid

Athena looked up as she stood in the middle of the  lobby of the Originals Tower when she heard footsteps followed by a voice. “Hi, yes. that’s me. um hi, I’m Athena, Athena Astrid, wow.. you’re really real..” She rambled, a trait she developed as she got older. The young woman with the boot on her left foot limped a bit closer to the metal woman, “You um, can you help me? I don’t know but I feel like I know you and you look so much like my mother..” She said then took out her phone and showed the taller woman her lockscreen - which was a  a selfie with her mothers. “That’s Toni Astrid-Blanche but um, yeah. Can you help me with something, if you’re not too busy, that is.”
