I've been learning Swedish embroidery/ weaving. I need to start keeping some kind of fiber arts bucket list going. This style of embroidery was surprisingly easy and fun!

Put the coat on hold until I can get some twill tape. (There are certain disadvantages to living four hours away from a fabric store.)

In the meantime, I've been testing my new cape pattern!

Some quick and messy shops of buttons to try to decide on which button I like best.

I had ordered four different red buttons in the hopes that one of those would work, but red is the hardest color to match and none of them coordinated with the red stripe. (They were all too purple 😭.)
