One of the things I love about M3gan is that Gemma isn't a young adult. She's well into adulthood and well-established into her career. She's unapologetic, competent, ambitious, and complex, yes - but different in a way that's not "generic badass woman lead."

A lot of people find those traits insufferable about her, but I love it! She feels very messy and real and human.

Idk i just don't see a lot of leading women like Gemma in sci-fi horror-adjacent media and I am so so happy she exists and can continue on in the series 🥺
