Which means this needy, yearning thing inside him that revs up harder when he spends prolonged amounts of time with the McCall pack and gets sated off inclusion, is utterly, humiliatingly, painfully human.

Mason has holes in his memory—big stretches of time lost to the Beast. Corey has holes, too, but wishes he could remember less. Deep in the night, when the streets are dead heavy with sleep and silent, a pebble hits Liam’s bedroom window with enough force to sail clear through.
Liam evacuates dreamland with a jolt. He wakes up cursing, thinking bullets. Thinking in panicked flashes, mind still half fogged over with sleep. He stumbles out of bed and steps into broken glass—winces and limps and bleeds his way to the window, where he stoops down to pull the little shardlets from the aching soles of his feet.
“Are you getting bored? Too much time on your hands? Clearly you must, because you want to do my job and yours,” Douglas says.
Theo used to think if he kept his head on straight, played smart, he could be the next Douglas. No losing, no being put down, just a quiet retirement building up the next generation of Reapers. Thought that his future would either be that of a dead dog or the thing that buries them. Shit, he’ll trade a collar for a suit any day.
It’s succession planning. The Dread Doctors may live forever but Douglas won’t.
Lacrosse team summer workouts have been working him through. He focuses on mindlessly physical things, needs that rigor. Going for long, looping runs around his neighborhood, lifting weights, swimming laps at the pool—anything but keeping still. Every day pressing against the limits of himself and falling into deep, hard nights of murky sleep. It does what he needs it to do. Keeps his head quiet and distracted.
He knows he’s tanned, leaned out. And sitting here beside Theo who in his own way too seems hardened, Liam hopes he notices.

For as long as Isaac could remember, every month, he goes bad. He doesn't mean to, but it happens. His body changes and he never really remembers much of it.
His father helps. His father never goes bad and neither does his brother. Isaac alone, goes bad. Maybe Isaac alone, deserves to go bad. Yet his father helps. Isaac needs his fathers help. His fathers help makes him good again after the night he goes bad. His father feeds him just enough. Too much would be bad. Too much wouldn't let him fit in the freezer.
The freezer in the basement is not a good place. Isaac hates the freezer. Isaac wishes the freezer never existed. But it's necessary. It's part of his fathers help. He can't help but panic inside the freezer. Trying to push the door open every time even if he knew that it was locked up tight.
Isaac can't remember a week of his life. Somewhere in between a night where he had gone bad, he had broken out of the freezer and escaped into the woods. His father is gone. Cougar attack, they said. Isaac can try as hard he can but he just can't seem to remember what happened.

Hello!!! I'm so excited to host the first ever Puppy Pack Week. First off, all the prompts are suggestions so they can be mixed, matched, and ignored if you have other ideas that might not fit the theme. Also, I know Puppy Pack is a vague term (usually refers to Liam, Mason, Hayden, Corey, Alec,...) but I'm not the puppy pack police. Add Theo, add Nolan, add an OC, add whoever you want! Add dead characters (Tracy, Brett, Josh, Lori, Violet,...), I'm all for it! Hey, if you decide that Malia had to redo a grade and is now chilling w the puppy pack and is a part of them, heck yeah, love that too! But if one of you tries to make me believe Scott or Stiles is in the puppy pack, you're getting the stare.

DAY 4: Post s6 (This is fun! From one week after the finale to 30 years in the future, what is the puppy pack up to? Does the Teen Wolf movie count? Are you rewriting the movie to add your puppy pack blorbo? What career would Hayden do? If Tracy had lived, would she have loved college? Have fun!)
DAY 5: Parents (i looooove parent headcanons and fics! How do you imagine Mason's parents to be? What about a fic around Hayden's sister/guardian? A series of headcanons about how David Geyer came into Liam's life? Who's Alec's guardian?)
