I’m sorry but this is getting ridiculous.

No one, and I mean ABSOUTELY NO ONE, is here trying to twist nestastis decision of leaving as an excuse to hate on the other side. I’m tired of people ignoring context and getting angry at us for just defending ourself just because they come here, see our posts without bothering to look at the other tag for why that post might have been made, and continue to throw shit on us without knowing shit about anything. There was ONE SINGLE POST on our tag about Nestastits, a post that was made to defend ourself from the baseless accusation made by the other side of having mass- reported her and got her banned. There’s at least A DOZEN of posts about it on the E/riel tag, all made with the sole intention of insulting us AGAIN, and it’s us who is using this event to turn it into shipwar???? I’m tired bro.

To clarify, I’m sorry and saddened about what happened to Nestastits, when it’s clear as the day that it was all a big misunderstanding. About other people involved, when I see you calling a Gwynriel account a bitch without never even interacting with that account, you can’t really expect to be seen as a victim anymore… But there still wasn’t A SINGLE POST ON THIS TAG ABOUT HER so Idk about what the fuck everyone is talking about.

I will later remove the Gwynriel tag cause I want the fanart and theories and good content to have more relevance.

I have reached out to one artist already whose name was brought up yesterday as not having been paid, but I’m honestly not sure if there are more, and if there are, I’m not sure who they are.

regardless of everyone’s feelings on this matter, the artist’s deserve to get paid for their work and I’d like to try my best to make sure that happens.

This has probably already been discussed but I’m fairly new here so I’m asking it anyway. Does anyone have a theory on why we’ve never seen Gwyn wearing the necklace? I feel like the most likely reason is that she doesn’t feel worthy of wearing something so beautiful, just as she doesn’t feel worthy of wearing the invoking stone. Just thinking about this makes my heart ache for my girl Gwyn🥺

We’ve seen them saying that the Valkyries plotline was definitely over. Now it’s slowly clocking for them, and they’ve changed the version in “it’s not over but it will not be that important”. So I’m reminding them what SJM wrote cause they seem to read their books closed.

How can someone who is not still in kindergarten read THIS and think that their role in this series will be marginal or over? How can someone read about a moment where the world seemed to stop and far bigger forces peered into the scene and think “ok this is it we’re done with them”?

I shouldn’t be surprised, since they are the same ones who manage to read a BC and completely miss how the structure of it is written to make us see two mirrored interactions with two different women and the opposite emotions those two women make the protagonist feel. They managed to twist it in “Gwyn is there to make us aware of her lightsinger powers”, ignoring the fact that there is only one reason for the structure of the BC being that way.

I’m also going to add this:

“Cassian glanced over at Az, but his attention was fixed on the young priestess, admiration and quiet encouragement shining from his face.”

Cause I know it really pisses them off seeing his admiration for her, when he repeatedly underestimates Elain and her abilities, trying to stop her growth.

You know what’s the most off putting thing about E/riel and also why I think E/riel won’t happen? It’s not even the fact that Azriel feels like an undeserving, unworthy piece of shit just being in her presence (soooo romantic 😂) but the fact That there is literally NOTHING left to tell about them. They already like each other and everything happened off page, with basically nothing more than a few short interactions. How can a romance book talk about a couple where the MCs already like each other? What would the book be about? Yes, yes the forbidden romance (which could hold like 100 pages of hidden fuckings before becoming boring) but what about the build up, the falling in love with each other?? What about how the two of them have come to like each other? E/riel would deprive us of the best part of a Romance book, which is actually what comes BEFORE the real romance part, and that is exactly why I don’t think it will happen.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the only reasonable explanation about the lack of marketing for Acotar 6 is that once they start promoting it, it will be clear what ship it’s going to be about and they fear to lose a lot of money once the ships are confirmed. Opening preorders for a book without even publishing its title is so foolish and detrimental for the sales that they must be sure that the sales would drop even lower if they revealed the title/ synopsis and lost almost 1/3 of the fandom. If anyone here has any idea I’m happy to listen but honestly I can’t find another reason behind this.

With Acotar 6 announcement I’ve finally started my Maasverse reread. I had already reread ACOTAR and CC but I have firmly refused to reread TOG, cause I wanted as much time as possible to pass from the first time I read it. I wanted to feel as close as possible as the first time I read it.

To all my fellow antis, who claim that Gwynriel can’t be endgame because he wouldn’t even call her a friend, I’d like to remember that these were Rowaelin at the beginning of their story:

"First thing," he breathed, "we’re not friends. I'm still training you, and that means you're still under my command." The flicker of hurt must have shown, because he leaned closer, his grip tightening on her jaw. "Second —whatever we are, whatever this is? I'm still figuring it out, too. So if I'm going to give you the space you deserve to sort yourself out, then you can damn well give it to me."

I’ll just leave it here. Gwynriel is coming home 🩵
