Feeling truly uplifted after a fantastic visit to Gastonia Fire Department Station One (HQ)!
Deepest gratitude for these awesome Gastonia Fire Department patches. Beyond the gear, the most impactful part of my day was the powerful sense of inclusion and acceptance from my fellow firefighters. These connections are invaluable. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!
This morning, while at Gastonia Fire Department HQ for the 9/11 memorial, I was privileged to get an exclusive look at their new HAZMAT 1. It’s powerful to see the resources dedicated to protecting our communities. Thank you, Gastonia Fire, for everything you do!
Today, on the 24th anniversary of a day that forever changed our nation, we at Autism On Fire take a moment of solemn remembrance.
We honor the 2,976 lives lost in the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, including the 343 brave firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others.
Their courage, selflessness, and dedication will never be forgotten. We stand united in remembering the heroes and the innocent lives taken too soon. May we always carry their memory in our hearts and continue to support the first responders who protect our communities every single day.
Had a great lunch at the Country Kitchen in Dallas, NC today. The meal was so large that I ended up eating the leftovers for dinner.

Remembering Firefighter Jake Bridges (Hickory Fire Department)
The Autism On Fire community mourns the heartbreaking loss of Firefighter Jake Bridges of the Hickory Fire Department, who passed away on Thursday at just 20 years old following a medical emergency while on duty.
Jake’s courage, service, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten. He embodied the true spirit of the fire service — selflessness, strength, and heart.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Jake’s family, his brothers and sisters at Hickory Fire, and all who knew and loved him.
Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here.
Observing Novemdiales
With a heavy heart, I’m stepping away from TikTok and social media for a few days to observe Novemdiales — the traditional nine-day mourning period in the Catholic Church following the passing of the Holy Father.
This time is sacred to me as a Catholic, and I will be using it for prayer, reflection, and honoring the legacy of Pope Francis.
I know not everyone will understand or agree, and that’s okay — but this isn’t the space for arguments. Out of respect, I’ve disabled comments on this post.
Thank you for your understanding.
I’ll see you all soon.
Requiescat in pace, Sancte Pater.

New Games
Two new additions to my gaming collection: Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) and Call of Duty Modern Warfare II (2022). Picked both of these up for less than $30.00 USD.
