So I had this friend a few years back, and her mom's boyfriend was abusive, physically and verbally. And like, this dude was scared of me. I guess it's cause maybe he knew I'm onto him. I was gathering evidence like the meddling asshole I am, my friend didn't even know what I was up to. Anyways I could basically say whatever I wanted to this guy and he wouldn't do shit.
So Christmas time: I was very broke so I couldn't get her anything, but I went to sleepover at her house, yknow to protect her against her mom's bf in case he got drunk.
Spoiler alert: he did get drunk. He was like raging and stuff and like, I was so glad, cuz this was the last of what I needed.
And then his mood just shifted and he looked at the Christmas tree and went: so presents?
And I said: 'bitch, my presence is the gift, not for you tho.'
And he looks confused for a sec, before it dawns on him and its like he immediately sober up and pales.
So I tell him how I'm basically gonna force him away from my friend and her mom, and he starts getting angry, and goes for my friend and yknow, I guess adrenaline kicked in and I stepped between them and punched him in the jaw.
So that's how 15 year old me got a guy locked up for domestic abuse. 🙂
