I finally made one of these. Problem is I can't remember who made the template on this because it was on my work computer for months. Anyone knows, tell me so I can credit.
Could you maybe make a fic about reader and Daddy! Gabriel from Supernatural? The little doesn’t want to be little but Gabriel helps her realize she needs it?
Gabriel as a Caregiver!
The motel room was quiet.
You sat on the edge of the bed, staring down at your hands.
You hated this feeling.
The fuzzy thoughts.
The heavy tiredness.
The urge to curl up with a blanket and let someone else take care of everything.
You didn't want to be little tonight.
You wanted to be grown.
You wanted to be strong.
You wanted to prove that you could handle things.
So you ignored the stuffed animal sitting beside you.
Ignored the coloring book on the table.
Ignored the little voice in the back of your mind asking for comfort.
"I don't wanna be little," you whispered.
The room shimmered.
A familiar voice answered.
"Well, that sounds like a very serious problem."
You looked up.
Gabriel was leaning against the doorway, holding a candy bar like he'd been there the whole time.
"Gabriel."
He smiled.
"Hi, kiddo."
You immediately looked away.
"I'm not little."
Gabriel raised an eyebrow.
"Oh?"
"No."
"Interesting."
He walked over and sat beside you.
"Hey."
You looked at him.
"You don't have to fight it."
You frowned.
"But I should be able to handle things."
Gabriel nodded.
"I know."
"I don't want to need help."
"I know that too."
The angel reached over and gently squeezed your hand.
"But needing comfort doesn't mean you're weak."
You stayed quiet.
Gabriel continued.
"You spend so much time being brave. Hunting. Worrying. Taking care of everyone else."
His voice lowered.
"Sometimes you need someone to take care of you."
Your eyes started to sting.
"I don't wanna be a burden."
Gabriel's expression immediately changed.
"Oh, kiddo."
He pulled you into a hug.
"You could never be a burden."
The second you were in his arms, the fight started slipping away.
The part of you that had been trying so hard to stay big finally got tired.
Your shoulders relaxed.
Your grip on his jacket tightened.
"Daddy..."
The word slipped out before you could stop it.
Gabriel froze for only a second.
Then his face softened into the warmest smile.
"There you are."
You hid your face against him, embarrassed.
"Sorry."
"Sorry?"
He gently rubbed your back.
"For what?"
"I didn't mean to say..."
Gabriel shook his head.
"Hey. You don't have to apologize."
Your voice came out smaller.
"I tried not to be little."
"I know."
"I tried really hard."
"I know, sweetheart."
That made you relax even more.
Gabriel held you close.
"And you know what?"
"What?"
"I'm proud of you for trying."
A tiny smile appeared.
Gabriel tapped your nose.
"There's my kiddo."
You looked toward the table.
"My coloring?"
"Absolutely."
"But I said I wasn't little."
Gabriel shrugged.
"And?"
You thought about it.
Then you quietly admitted:
"I still wanna color."
"Sounds like a very grown-up decision."
You giggled.
Gabriel snapped his fingers, and the coloring supplies appeared neatly arranged.
You sat beside him, happily picking colors while he watched.
By the time the evening was over, you were curled against Gabriel's side, sleepy and comfortable.
He tucked the blanket around you.
"You feeling better?"
You nodded.
"Yeah."
"Still think being little is something you have to fight?"
So I watched “Just My Imagination “ and I really would’ve liked it if giving Sam and Dean the ability to see what the Zanna see like gave their minds a bit more of a childish reset. Like imagine Dean and Sam developing aversions to coffee and alcohol and having problems staying up late and shorter attempt spans and less control over their emotions. Imagine Sam crying his eyes out when Sully offers himself up to Reese.

Dean Winchester:
Dean wouldn't be necessarily helicopter strict, but he'd definitely be a bit stricter. No candy or sweets past 8, but if you both were having a rough night sleep, he'd slide a bowl of 3am ice-cream your way in a heartbeat.
PHYSICAL TOUCH. He'd always reach for your hand especially in public or always have his hand on your lower back. When at home he adores when you want to just be in his arms, whether if it's while he cooks dinner and you get carried around the kitchen, or if you're both watching a movie cuddled underneath some blankets. "C'mere I'll make it better I promise."
Massive gift giver!! He'd buy you all your favorite toys or food whenever he can, just to see the beautiful smile that glows when you get excited. His way of showing those around him that he cares tends to be just handing them things he thinks they'll like.
Doesn't like to, but will hand out punishments when needed, he hates seeing his kiddo upset but he knows that he can't let them get away with everything. "I know I hate it too."
"Kiddo", "Sweetheart", "Baby(girl/boy)" Are his go to with pet names, he absolutely adores being able to ruffle your hair and just call you, his kiddo.
He'd watch all the cartoons in the world with you!! Anything you like, from things you grew up with or adore, or things he grew up with and wants to share with you. If it's things he knows then you'll hear him mumble the words under his breath, just as excited as you are. "Scooby-dooby-doo!"
Overly protective of you, big or little. He'd practically die for anyone around him, and you were more than included in that bunch. Not a day goes by where he doesn't triple check every plan, he's created to keep his found family safe. "I won't lose them too."
Doesn't tend to let others care for you. Unless he's literally sick, or dying, he will always be home to care for you. If he's unavailable and can't be there he'll always leave behind a flannel of his and try and get Sam or Cas to stay with you as well. It tears him apart each time he has to step away from his kiddo though.
Softie all in all. He'd give anything for his little to be happy and healthy which means he'd give up the world for you just as fast as he'd also give it up for his brother, Sammy.
He wouldn't be fond of many people knowing of your two's dynamic, worrying someone could try and use it to harm you, or him. He'd only ever tell those he truly entrusts to keep you safe.
Cooker!! He'd cook everything for you!! He would always have some sort of snack for you!! There wouldn't be a thing he wouldn't make for you. Making you laugh as his normal "Meatman!" quote turns into "Cakeman!" And "Pizzaman!". ("Batman")
Activities!! He never got the chance to truly indulge in things like the park, or coloring pages. He'd absolutely sit there hunched over coloring with the crayons you supply him with, displaying his coloring sheet right next to yours. "We should really publish some artwork huh sweetheart?"
Would use "Dada" or "Baba" but would be open to more nicknames and would always hear you out if you think of a new nickname.
Sam Winchester
Reader!! he'd read you all the stories in the world if he could. He'd use all his funny voices and tell you the most enthralling story possible. "So get this, Winnie the pooh LOVES honey, just like I love you!"
Big cuddly bear. He'd always prefer to have you cuddled up warm and safe in his arms. His ideal night would consist of you both in matching pj's, hot cocoa, a fluffy blanket, and your favorite movie playing. "Yeah? Do you want to put your marshmallows in?"
Will always have you near him. Too many people have tried to hurt those close to him for him to not. Loves when you loop your finger through his belt loop, keeping yourself close to him.
Absolute best pretend play partner. You wanna play dolls and have them go to the mall buying all their hearts desire? Sam knows just how to get you to giggle as he plays with you. Want to terroize him by being a dinosaur? He can be convincing that he's actually scared of the big dinosaur that appeared in his living room. "I didn't mean to leave the window open enough for a scary dinosaur to come in!!"
Sam would be big on veggies and fruits, and if you like them he'd always pack them for you, but if they're yucky for you then he'll mix them into things so you don't have to taste them. "They're super good for you too!"
Would be more lenient with things like bedtime and screen time, but would incorporate it into other plays. Letting you choose to watch a cartoon and play with blocks, or letting you finish the last part of the movie going way past your bedtime.
He would write you silly letters or draw you pictures expressing his adoration for you. His best way of expressing his feelings has always been through vocalization and words, which means he loves to read his letters to you, or just praise you all day. "I'm so grateful that your my little one."
Doesn't exactly do punishments, more likely to let natural consequences do the job unless he has to intervene more. Small mistakes don't get a angry reaction, he just scoops you up, kisses your cheek a million times and helps you fix it. "Everyone spills milk sometimes, I've got you baby."
"Honey", "Darling", "Baby", "Prince/Princess/Royal" would be his absolute favorite nicknames for you, as well as throwing in many more that he can think of.
Would teach you whatever you want! Anything from the ABC'S to how silver affects the monsters outside, it's important for you to have the knowledge so your safe too. "Nono, baby that's a Wendigo that does that."
His preferred nickname would be "Papa" or "Bubba", but he'd absolutely be okay with "Dada" or any special nicknames you give him.
Castiel
I think Cas would understand so deeply that he'd be almost bursting with pride as your caregiver. He'd tell everyone he could that you trusted him that deeply, at the same time as guarding you with everything in him.
He'd likely watch cartoons with you, not because he understands them all too much, but because he loves to listen to you quote the shows over and over. "I may not understand why the mail song is so important, but they do truly love the 'Blues clue' show."
He always have his ears and eyes set on you. Whether on business or not, one call from you and he's in front of you, helping you pick up your toys and carrying you around like he was gone forever.
Very open about everything! He tends to have zero filter and will always explain why he did a action or why something happened. "We are out of cereal because you ate it all Hun. We'll go to the store tomorrow."
Would use "Hun", "Bud" "Bubba", and "Little one", very often! He's gotten better with nicknames over the years but he likes the simplicity in those.
Doesn't like to tell you much about his duties as a angel, but will always basque in how much you love his angel abilities. "No I cannot just snap the mess away." "Bu' your an angel!"
Would ask Sam and Dean how to best care for you when things happen he didn't understand, as well as having deep conversations with you to help understand you better.
Doesn't tend to regulate times or foods but will always make sure you have adequate sleep and a fully tummy. No matter what it is. "Missing nap time means early night. I will read to you."
Prefers to be called "Cas", "Bubba", and "Papa" but will accept practically any nickname. He adores when you add in anything your little imagination can think of.
Tends to always have you in his arms, keeping you tucked in his trench coat. His favorite thing is when you fall asleep on his shoulder, safely in his arms. "Shh. Dean. They are asleep. Do not disturb them."
Would rather watch you play or talk to you as you play than endulge in the imaginary play. Although he would supply you story ideas that he would read while with Sam and Dean.
Uncle Sam and Uncle Dean are around constantly and love to play with you! Cas enjoys when he sees you standing with Dean and Sam on the floor, pigtails, makeup, or whatever you could find smeared on them. "Bubba look! I gaves them makeover!"
All three!
Best caregivers in town! Whether it's all three or just two of them they all have the ability to make you laugh and feel safe.
The three would tend to tag team everything. Breakfast, playtime, snacks, chores, everything would be done in a way where you never were alone and had a caregiver with you at all times.
They would be the best to play with! Cas would supply stories you, Sam, and Dean have to reenact, or would read out the charades card for you all to try and see who can do the best with what's prompted. "Dean, I'm not exactly sure that's what a cow does." "Sure it is!"
Sam and Dean would tend to be your main two caregivers when there's a job/hunt. They always had things for you to do when in the impala, or when they needed you to stay safe and secure at a motel. Never letting you get too close to the danger.
Cas would always come back from whereever to make sure you were safe and sound, especially after a hunt. Needing to hug you and heal you if anything happened. "Papa I promis' I onlys got a paper cut tha's all!" "Let me heal it, I'm so glad your safe."
They all would be the softest caregivers, tending to let you have your way, but always with caution. They'd shower you in love and keep you happy. They love you, and it shows in everything they do for you.
☘ Dean started regressing when he got back from hell, the stress and trauma of it all had him acting like a teen again, sometimes younger if it was a particularly bad day. A once or twice a week kind of deal that went down in frequency to a 2-3 times a month, picking back up again when things got bad. In later seasons he'd start regressing when his brother regressed, his mood being undeniably tied to his brother's. Like when one kid is crying and their friend starts crying too.
☘ He usually only goes down 13-15, but can go younger 8-13, usually only when his brother is regressed too.
☘ Tends to be more irritable and moody when he's regressed, but also very playful, he's definitely a high energy kid.
☘ He doesn't really like people seeing him regressed, especially after he realizes that's what's happening, the only people really allowed to see him little are Sam, Cas and Bobby, Lisa for a while and later Charlie. He's mostly independent, insistent that he doesn't need anyone looking after him, but does later let Castiel watch over him sometimes.
☘ Dean is an absolutely no nick names kind of guy, unless it's coming from Sammy.
☘ Food preferences are mostly the same, but when he's especially young he does occasionally ask for his crust to be cut off.
☘ Dean is all about toy cars, he loves them, especially the ones that wind back, he also likes to play with Legos and occasionally figurines, but he's mostly an outdoor kid, he loves chasing around his little brother and wrestling him in the grass, climbing up trees and playing hide and seek.
☘ He has 3 comfort items, baby(obviously he loves his impala, it's basically been his home his whole life) his dad's leather jacket, and the necklace Sam gave him. Sam had given it back to him, after he threw it out, before he went to say yes to Lucifer. Dean never put it back on around his neck, but always keeps it in his pocket.
☘ He loves cartoons like Scooby-Doo and Ninja turtles, not super kiddy shows but still for a younger audience, and super hero shows like Batman and the X-Men, as well as comic books. He also likes reading to his little brother and sometimes Cas.
☘ Dean doesn't really use the typical gear, just mostly pyjama pants and a T-shirt are his go to, occasionally he appreciates a sippy cup but he's more likely to glare at you if you offer.

Sam
✎ Sam's regression started when he left for Stanford, out alone in a world he's never been in without his big brother there to protect or support him. Sam knew how to socialize and make friends, he could take care of himself, but he'd never stayed long enough to make long term friends before. Eventually he got with Jess and she saw immediately what was happening, and after a while he started feeling safe in his regression, at least until she burnt up. He tried avoiding regressing at all costs when he was back on the road again, but it only made him regress younger and more upset during, usually triggered by being hurt/scared particularly bad on a hunt, or nightmares, which was kind of a given with their job. Later it evened out to about 2-3 times a week, then more often when he was on demon blood, a complete zero when he was soulless, then completely skyrocketing when the barrier keeping hell back broke, before later evening out again.
✎ Sammy is usually a middle at 5-9, but goes younger with more stress 0-4
✎ he's more of a mellow little, but not particularly sleepy, a good in-between, he is however very clingy and easily upset. He doesn't often throw tantrums, but it does happen, he's a big cryer though, tears are hard to avoid, and he tends to be shy.
✎ Sam doesn't like being around many people when he's regressed, but for different reasons than Dean. He's shy, doesn't want to meet new people or say hi to acquaintances, only friends allowed in his circle. He prefers Dean to everyone else, and will cry if he's not around. Early on it was often Jessica he'd cry for, but eventually stopped after about a year.
✎ He's mostly indifferent to nick names, but he's all smiles when it's Dean saying them, and typically shortens people's names when little.
✎ Definitely a picky eater, wants Dean or Bobby specifically to cook for him, only really a fan of sweets and macaroni. He does NOT like meat, doesn't like the texture or the flavor, but he does like fruit. Baby snacks when he's especially young.
✎ He's more a fan of soft toys, and stuff that makes noise, stuffies and rattles, but he does like to play cars with Dean. Loves playing outside, hide and seek, tag, wrestling, trees and looking for bugs and lizards.
✎ His only real comfort item is his brown jacket, he's always wearing it, hugs it when he's sleeping.
✎ Sam will watch whatever Dean puts on, he enjoys Scooby-Doo and Batman specifically, but doesn't usually have a preference. When he's leaning on the older side he likes to read, but usually he prefers if someone reads to him.
✎ He gets embarrassed but he needs his pacifier regardless of age range, a fan of bottles and sippy cups, no outfit change besides softer pants. He does have to be padded at night because nightmares usually lead to accidents.

Castiel
ഒ Cas started regressing when his grace was low, tiredness and hunger were new to him and made him feel fuzzy in the head, often making him frustrated, he regresses more the more his grace depletes, reaching an all time high when he loses it and becomes completely human, more days regressed than not. During the time he was under Meg’s care, he was regressed for most of it.
ഒ Cas, being an angel, didn't really go through the kind of growing humans did, so it's hard to place his age, but it can range between 4-10
ഒ He's low energy, not exactly falling asleep at the table kind of low, in fact he tends to have a hard time going to sleep until he's passing out from exhaustion, but he just wasn't to lay on the floor or couch or bed or wherever, or be picked up, or rocked.
ഒ He doesn't particularly care who sees him regressed, but he is afraid of most other angels when he's little, knowing he can't exactly defend himself in that state. He likes to hang around Sam and Dean when little, preferring when Sam or/and Dean are also little so he can have a playmate.
ഒ He doesn't care either way about nick names, and usually just calls people by they're name
ഒ Cas is nearly as picky as Sam, though he doesn't care who's giving him the food, he dislikes many different food textures, as well as the sound and feel of chewing food, usually Dean or Sam will end up giving him a bottle. He is however a fan of a good pb&j
ഒ He loves bored games and card games of any kind, sometimes puzzles, he'll go outside with Sam and Dean but usually just ends up laying down in the grass or watching bugs do what they do.
ഒ Cas doesn't have a comfort item so much as he has a comfort person, who is Dean, and later on also Sam(Meg for a short amount of time too).
ഒ He'll watch anything, everything, all kinds of entertainment intrigue him, for better but usually worse. After finding media he really shouldn't be looking at too many times, Sam and Dean decided he shouldn't have unrestricted Internet or TV access. He likes when Dean reads to him.
ഒ Mostly he'll use teethers, bottles, occasionally a sippy cup, he doesn't like changing his clothes, he prefers to have the same outfit always, and when he's human he has to be padded, still not used to the needs of a human body, and he can't usually tell what he's feeling.
