Pathfinder Antics (1)
So,while entering a haunted spaceship, we found a Will-o Wisp, and (due to being the first vaguely ghost looking thing that hadnât attacked us on sight, and us being newbies), Bilged, our Cleric, decided to converse with it.
Charlotte (Will-o-Wisp):Â Hi, iâm Charlotte!
Bilged: Well, youâre the first ghost here thatâs been, uh, friendly.
(After a short conversation mostly composing of Charlotte saying cute cryptic stuff, this happened.)
DM:Â Suddenly, she (the Wisp) vanishes in a blast of blue light, and dealing 6 damage to you (Bilged.)
Charlotte: I never said I was friendlyâŠ
Bilged:Â *coughing* YOU BITCH!
(The fight ended relatively quickly.)
Holy Mothership previews, Batman!
That enchantment
one sided heartbeat of spring glued to glimpse of nature seems good
â7 seems a bit pricyâ
Yeah, I think this will only see play in really creature heavy ramp decks or something that can cheat it out or recasts creatures often enough for it to be valuable. Karador seems like a really good fit and I can maybe see it in Maelstrom too.
Hello friends I look really cute bye
bless this new trend of saying âyikesâ honestly this is the word iâve been looking for my whole life. the perfect combination of disinterested, detached, amused, and passive aggressive. five letters that say so much yet are vague enough that you wonât get involved in any drama

Commanderâs Toolkit
Good Cards for Pillowfort DecksÂ
Another one of my favorite archetypes, I especially enjoy pillowfort because, unless your opponent has specific removal, they will eventually be able to do nothing. I found most of the best pillow cards to be white.
1. Sphere of SafetyÂ
Although this card requires you to run lots of enchantments and maintain a high number of them in play, this is one of my favorite cards in pillow decks. Mainly because iâve had really aggro games where they have been unable to deal any significant damage.Â
2. Blind ObedienceÂ
When this was in standard, it was easily one of the most favored cards among people in my group. If used early enough it can really punch a hole in some of the more aggro archetypes and annoy some control ones. It also provides a slow but difficult to prevent method of whittling life away.Â
3. Ensnaring BridgeÂ
I love this card, unfortunately it mostly comes in white border and the foil (shown above) will tear you a new one financially. although being very expensive later on in the game it can really slow down some of the bigger creatures. Â
4. Meishin, the Mind CageÂ
I think this card could make a brilliant pillow card. I have never had the opportunity to use it properly as the decks I usually play against are more control than aggressive, it would also be useless against my girlfriends Doran, the Siege Tower deck.Â
5. Glacial ChasmÂ
This card is great if you can find a way to pay the painfully high upkeep cost, it makes for a useful temporary solution though. It goes well with Hex Parasite or Vampire Hexmage, which can remove the age counters.Â
6. Mark of AsylumÂ
This prevents your creatures from burn based wipe spells such as Sudden Demise, Blasphemous Act or Mizzium Mortars which could be useful if your opponents are playing red, or you have lots of tokens.Â
7. Palisade GiantÂ
Oh look, itâs a walking Pariah. Throw one of these onto the battlefield with an Avacyn, Angel of Hope or an Indestructibility and you will never take damage again. Itâs power 2 or less so she goes great in Alesha, Who Smiles at Death as well.Â
8. Dissipation FieldÂ
This is great with life gain, as you can just roll with the punches and watch your opponentâs creature base disappear. a great combat deterrent.Â
9. Nornâs AnnexÂ
This is one of my favorite pillow cards because if an opponent is playing white, it sucks when they have to pay 2 life for every creature that wants to attack. As if making them pay that extra mana for each creature wasnât bad enough.Â
10. Gravity WellÂ
I find that Gravity Well is brilliant in Gruul or Naya decks with few flying creatures. This will completely shut down flying so that your creatures can have a look in.
All good cards. Also playing lovely stax cards can achieve a boardstate where people arenât attacking you. Because they canât do anything! This strategy is strong, but will not make new friends. Suggested stax cards: Winter Orb, Tangle Wire, Static Orb, Rising Waters and my new favourite Possessed Portal. Enjoy!
Strong words to use on a Resume
If you have ever had to write a resume for work or for an application, then you know the hardest part is figuring out what type of words to use that sound professional and and intelligent.
Example: If an application asks you if you have any relevant experience for a job at a day care center and you have experience, like you have babysat children. You would look at the words in the columns to see what words you should use that will help your resume stand out. You might put down âHave supervised and attended to children on a regular basis.â
I hope this is helpful to you.
Now this is a great resume list of action words. Â I love that itâs broken down by types of jobs. Â Saving for future use.
Today I met a woman, whose age she did not mention because she is a lady, was buying a lot of Star Wars merch because we had it on sale. And she was telling me that she couldnât wait to see the new one and how she was going to stay up and see the midnight release and take pictures of people in costumes. She was so excited, and then she leans in close:
âYou know, all these young men at these conventions- they see me and they ask me trivia about this that and the other thing and I tell them-Â âSon, I went to see the first one in 1977 before you were even a twinkle in your daddyâs eye.â If I donât know the answer, its because I damn forgot.â
