The bastardization of feminism began the moment it was watered down by male-serving talking points like "feminism is just equality" and "feminism is for everyone." Which is absolutely not. You cannot achieve "equality" within a system designed from the ground up to strip women of their rights and erase their history. Feminism is the radical liberation of women from sex-based oppression. By shifting the goalpost from dismantling patriarchy to "making everyone feel included," the movement was effectively declawed into a harmless, palatable brand to fit our very oppressors. ​

The second most insidious betrayal is the institutional push to validate gender ideology. The moment womanhood was redefined as a self-declared identity rather than a material, sex-based reality, female boundaries were stripped away. We’ve reached a peak delusion where males claim to be "lesbians," colonize female-only spaces, and weaponize slurs against women who assert their boundaries and biological reality, now they openly prey on homosexual women. We went from a movement dismantling a systemic hierarchy created by men for men, to one that demands women prioritize male feelings and predatory demands including changing female homosexuality to include them. Feminism was actively hijacked by men to shut women down.

​I am so sick of the myth that "men suffer in silence," because the reality is they don't do anything in silence. A man cannot occupy a physical, social or emotional space without expanding to consume it entirely. From manspreading on public transit to demanding the emotional labor of everyone around them, their existence is inherently loud, invasive and deeply entitled. They move through the world expecting the entire room to shift around their comfort, forcing women to literally jump out of the sidewalk just to avoid harassment.

​The idea that they are quiet, silent sufferers is a joke when you look at how much room they violently and casually steal every single day. If a man is inconvenienced, the whole world has to hear about it. If he is angry everyone around him has to manage his behavior. They don't suffer in silence. They make their presence, their entitlement and their general audacity everyone else's problem by default, and then expect a medal for "enduring" a world built entirely for them.

People constantly repeat the idea that men are “not allowed” to express emotions while women supposedly have complete freedom to express ours. That is completely false. When women cry, we are called irrational, dramatic, unstable, hysterical and those labels are weaponized against us socially and professionally. Women’s emotions are used to deny us credibility, authority, leadership and power.

Meanwhile, anger is constantly normalized and allowed for men to express. An angry man is “assertive” or “passionate.” An angry woman is “crazy,” “difficult,” or “aggressive.” Men destroy property over sports games, intimidate women, and commit crimes and violence like femicide and rape against women, yet male anger is still treated as more understandable than female anger.

Women are not socially free to express emotions. We are scrutinized for every emotion we express. Sadness becomes weakness. Anger becomes insanity. Confidence becomes arrogance. Assertiveness becomes hostility. So when people insist men are uniquely oppressed because they “can’t cry,” it becomes yet another conversation centered around men while ignoring how women’s emotions have always been monitored, mocked, belittled and used against us.

What women’s only spaces are transwomen even complaining about? They’ve invaded and destroyed almost every single one of them. They’re in every lesbian bar, every female social club, every women’s shelter, every woman-centric event, every hint of girl power must also reference them or risk being called transphobic. Hell, women just looking for female roommates are called intolerant bigots. What more could you possibly want from us?

It's our vaginas. When I was part of the trans movement, I asked the TIMs in the group I was part of what they actually wanted, what the "cis women only" spaces are, because they'd already changed policy to make sure they'd be allowed into female bathrooms and locker rooms, which were the only gendered spaces around.

They said they were still excluded socially, from social female spaces. I asked them to elaborate, and I was told that it was very common for "terf lesbians" to refuse to have sex with trans women. That it was a barrier to inclusion, and that lesbians have "more power than anyone" because we "deny their identity" by refusing to have sex with them.

That's it. They can be allowed into any place they want, but they won't stop until they're allowed inside our bodies as well. That conversation was my crack in the brainwashing, and it's what led to me leaving the group and questioning gender ideology again.

How many crimes do men have to commit before people stop saying not all men and start acknowledging that patriarchy is violent? Because every time violence against women is exposed like rape, exploitation, trafficking and femicide. The first response isn’t outrage for the victims but damage control for men. "It’s not that many". "It’s not all men". "It’s exaggerated". Even when the facts are corrected, the focus is still protecting men’s reputations over confronting harm caused by them.

When women respond to patterns of male violence with caution and call out male violence against us, suddenly it’s offensive, irrational and too far. So why do men continue to hold power, over and over again, despite the harm they always cause? Why is their violence excused, minimized, and forgotten while women are told to stay quiet about it?

btw transwomen have been forcing themselves into lesbian spaces since the 1970s. transwomen have been stealing slogans from lesbian activists and other rights movements for just as long. there is a very long, very documented history of their entitled behavior. and even back then, lesbians were demonized for protecting their community against males.

time is a flat circle. this clash between entitled males and women's rights has been a very long time coming. the same rhetoric they spewed back in the 80s and 90s, they're using now, except governments all over the world are bowing to them.
