when lesbians say that they hate osa women they obviously don't say it because they're women so why do people make such a huge fuzz out of it?
posts sponsored with blaze are a damn jumpscare.
No one will want to hear this, but you absolutely have to be somewhat willing to be a victim of DV. Unless you're chained in a basement somewhere (there are exceptions), you absolutely can get out and you can leave, it's just going to be difficult and uncomfortable. Do not let anyone tell you that it's impossible for women to leave abusive situations. It doesn't matter the reason. Money, kids, whatever. It is possible, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
You can rip me a new one for this take, but it's not even mine. This is the opinion of my grandmother who had three kids and took them all from Iran to America when she got sick enough of her husband's shit. The "why didn't she leave" narrative and framing is useless beyond illustrating obstacles. It's time to bring in the "you can leave" version and encourage women to take charge of their own lives.
lesbians should be the leaders of feminism. i said what i said.
only lesbians answer: do you think bisexual women should be allowed at lesbian bars?
yes
only febfems (female-exclusive bisexual women)
no
i don't care
not a lesbian/results
my answer: i think only febfems should be allowed, but i don't blame any lesbian for not wanting any osa woman there. it ain't called 'lesbian bar' for nothing.
i don't know who voted 'i don't care', but i think you should care. just saying.
a lot of women are peaking on tiktok because transwomen dogpiled one black girl for talking about female oppression (what’s new?) and now that other women are jumping to her defense and pointing out that they never felt like transwomen cared about women’s rights and expected unquestioning fealty they’re just dropping the feminist act all together. in what world does someone who is ambivalent about trans people at worst warrant them wishing death and unwanted pregnancies on them? how are women still doing olympic level gymnastics to defend these men???
these people are standing next to you seething because you’re talking about how roe v wade effects you, because you broke up with your bf when you found out he is in the manosphere, because you said you were feeling bad from your period. they’re going to reddit to post cisfoid death or complain that you made him feel excluded. they won’t ever be on your side.
these dudes are the biggest misogynists on the planet i hope every one of them had to put an M on their passport. (report this post too btw and let’s see if we can really ruin these dudes day)
males are so fucking sensitive.
Idk bring back over the top goddess worship female superiority feminism. Women are divine and men are worthless. Goodnight
women who date males are stupid. date women or nothing.
lowkey how it feels to be an actual homosexual during pride month

happy pride month for all lesbians and bisexual women only!!!
*and febfems only!!!
the concept of lesbians and het males bonding over their 'troubles' dating women is horrifying to me.
i genuinely think the lack of butch women in film is a serious problem. the fact that so many minorities get visual rep in film but butch women are conspicuously absent is something we need to talk about more
and on the exceedingly exceedingly rare occasions when butch women are in films it is only ever in Lesbian Movies. butch women cannot exist on the screen unless their sexuality is the subject. in other words: butch women cannot be shown as regular women, there’s always a statement that must be made… but sometimes we want to exist without being statements is the thing. let that woman have a buzzcut and not wear makeup and only wear masculine clothing and let it not have anything at all to do with who she is as a person and let her be in the narrative as anything other than Dyke Out Of Place
the way some straights act so overly excited when they see gay people just weirds me the fuck out
It feels very performative, and even if it’s not and they actually mean it, it’s still weird, like why are you reacting like this and making such a big deal out of it??
for example, I’m watching a game walkthrough right now and there’s a gay character in the story and the girl that’s playing the game is all like: omg you’re gay???😳😳😳yay!! that’s so awesome!!!❤️❤️❤️did you hear that, chat?gay!!!!🥺🥺🥺
and she reacts like that aaaalll the time and only to gay people, like she’s not going crazy when someone is straight or if there’s some straight romantic tension going on (despite being straight herself), but when it’s gay suddenly it’s sooo cool and sooo quirky and we must dance and sing a song about it
urgh… just makes my eyes roll every fucking time
This gave me a flashback to high school, when one my friends acted like this. She seemed like the perfect ally: asked me if I had a boyfriend, and when I laughed and said no she asked if I had a girlfriend which I responded to with “haha I wish!”. She was super supportive when this led to me telling her I’m gay. Red flags went up when she said “omg you have to introduce me to all your gay friends!”, but I was so used to straight girls acting like this that I just shrugged it off.
Gyns, she was a typical homophobic Christian who believed that tattoos were okay but gay love was sinful. She told me something like “Satan has a hold of you” which was fucking hilarious to me at the time because that is also a line from the Broadway musical Book of Mormon. It sucked because she was actually such an amazing person other than that and I miss her.
Anyways, yes I agree it’s very performative. I’ve run into it too both in real life and online. I wonder if part of it is overcompensating for their discomfort? As in, they feel discomfort when they encounter gay characters and especially gay love, so they do this whole song and dance to convince themselves and everyone else that actually they’re so super duper okay with it.
There’s also the fetishism aspect, and I don’t just mean sexual fetishism. That too, but also the way that straight people prop homosexuality up as this super special neat weird thing that must be singled out and never ever treated as something normal. I see this with people, especially “queers” using “gay” as a descriptor for things that have absolutely nothing to do with homosexuality. Like “doing this gay little dance” or “me and my gay little snack” (often the “little” is added as well). And it’s clear they see “gay” as just a fun little quirk and not a real sexual orientation. I think this is a factor when people make a big deal over someone being gay…they see it as something exciting and meant for their consumption.
i actually cringe hard when i see fellow lesbians defending gay males or osa women so fiercely because you're literally more oppressed than them and they would never do the same for you.
