Guys, I think I just discovered something about the new yandere sim 1980 mode and I'm literally shaking rn (NOT in a negative way!)

So I was searching up the new 1980s mode for Yansim and saw a video about the character profiles and decided to give it a watch and the rainbow 6/12 (or I guess 9 now) descriptions felt so familiar but I couldn't for the life of me remember if they had descriptions before they were removed?

Then I remembered why. I remembered this kinda cringy rainbow 12 dating sim profiles thing I did in 2018 on Amino (here if you wanna see) and the profiles matched so well! I'll put them here as comparison!

Then I thought 'wait, didn't I get these from somewhere?' (Also, just checked, I was using the 1st of Jan 2018 build and no, the only ones in the Rainbow 12 with descriptions were Riku and Saki) Luckily, I did link where I found the headcanons in the blog (they're here). Since it was on the yansim fanon wiki, I assumed they just used that but looking over the boys, the descriptions were nothing like on the fanon page but almost completely like the ones I made??? (I'm pretty sure I used my own vision of what I thought the boys were like since the way I made poses for them then fit my own thoughts on how they acted)

So now I'm here, comparing the descriptions and wondering 'DID YANDERE DEV OR WHOEVER THAT WROTE THE DESCRIPTIONS USE THE CRINGY DATING PROFILE THING I MADE WHEN I WAS 16???' and like that would the biggest, fucking honour?! I was such a huge yansim fan and knowing they used my dumb descriptions officially in the game would have made me explode in EXCITEMENT (AND HONESTLY IT KIND OF IS??)

For matchmaking purposes and popular demand, I’m tweaking everyone’s opinions so they have five likes and five dislikes. If there’s anything you’d like me to change or anything you’d like me to not change, let me know. I know a lot of people were really happy to learn that [character] enjoys [thing], and I don’t want to take that away from you.

It’s only necessary for me to do this for the rivals, but I’m going to try to update everybody’s interests, because I want to do my part to make it easier for Dev to consider adding matchmaking to every character in the future. I want it to be possible to potentially implement a feature where players can make their ships canon, and I want to be the hero who made it possible by going above and beyond the call of duty.

Thank you for following the development of what I do with my life now.

Omg, how did I not find this post before... Please, please, please let this be a future feature, even if it's put post game as a dlc or something! You will forever be a hero in my books just for putting in many of the interests that are already in game 😭.

Some General Rules for Requests

Nothing NSFW (well, no use really saying that since Tumblr banned it but still)

No poses that include large groups of people doing complex poses please.

If you have a specific pose in mind, please be as detailed as possible but if you just want to see your favourite characters in a pose, being vague is fine too!

Please don’t make requests for characters that aren’t properly implemented in the game yet.

Currently, this is all I can think of but will add more if need be.

If you want to see lots of different pairings, please split it up into different requests.

Sorry if this sounds too picky but it is kinda overwhelming seeing a whole bunch of names in one request especially now that my free time isn't as much as it was when I first started using pose mode. 😓
