Hypertension is one of the commonest diseases of the present era, produced due to multiple factors like stress, emotional turmoil, hereditary, obesity, overburden of work, stress, sedentary lifestyle, or secondary to some other diseases. It is frequently called a silent killer, as many a time, it is asymptomatic.
Hypertension may get manifested with symptoms like mild or pounding headache, ringing in the ears, dizziness, giddiness, fatigue, and retinopathy. Uncontrolled high blood pressure leads to hazardous complications like heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, etc. Blood pressure above 140 mmHg in systolic and 90 mmHg in diastolic is considered hypertensive.
