Originally for the lady Vee's AU I considered only changing Vox and Val into women but Ethan would look so much cuter as a girl.

Ethan doesn't have a female version of the name I have to pick something similar.

Thinking about all those RS fics in which Vox, during Alastor's seven-year absence, was struggling to function normally for a while because he ended up assuming that Alastor had been killed in the first extermination and he was grieving (with all the complicated feelings that entails given his relationship with Alastor), and the other two Vees noticed that he was having a rough time but didn't quite know how to get him to feel better.

That makes Valentino not informing him that Alastor was back immediately after finding out even funnier, imo. "Oh yeah, your ex-situationship that you hated yourself for mourning (which I know because you've started crying over it after sex no less than twenty-eight times) isn't actually dead. I found out like yesterday and totally forgot to tell you, oops, sorry."
