Same, but happy to wait. And look like S3 is going to be amazing. 😁
Bryan Salter, Helluva's animation lead commented about part 1 having his favourite episodes in it.
But also they've now wrapped voice recording for S3 part 2. Link
The finishing of the recording had been very delayed, compared to previous years; by Amazon demand of back-to-back production of Hazbin session 3 and 4.
(Amazon tried to slow down Helluva, but it really shafted both shows.
SpindleHorse swapping between Hazbin and Helluva's production was extremely efficient; and made the schedule much more do able around Broadway shows.
Making Hazbin worth doing as a regular fill-in job, when other work is slow. It also made it a more manageable workload for the animations to space work out better.
Neither group of actors have been fully able to promote Hellaverse at as many cons this year, because they have to work to make up for these short sighted twits.
And some animators quit, while SpindleHorse unionised to stop being forced into crunch. They lost good people because Amazon had to throw a paddy at Helluva running longer).
It's good to hear how Helluva has been catching up after the smeg throw at them.
But I think Bryce says, they planned on having the second half out top of the year 2027, is probably unrealistic. As it was before. Might need to be wiggled to March or April.
Instead of January/February time because of this. As they were dealing with about 2-3 months delay from the back-to-back shenanigans, in the first place.
🤷 Anyway it's understandable that they need to pause the shorts to focus on Session 3 release in October.
But time for a rewatch of the all the shorts and all the episodes again.😁
October 14, 2026 is 9 weeks away people!
