I'm currently working on a graphic novel called Avoidance about time-travel, messy disaster lesbians, and dragging your weird coworker into your drama by accident.

This was my third year tabling at Tokyo Alley. It's one of my favourite conventions in Perth and holds a special place in my heart. I feel like with each year I've learned more about how to art and it's just !!! seeing how much I've developed in such a short time. Also it really shows and means so much that Tokyo Alley is artist-led. The community is so lovely and I'm reminded why I heckin' do this. I had so much fun talking to so many cool attendees, artists and just !!! being excited over common interests. I'm also like. !!! thank you so much to everyone who picked up my original works or had come back after picking up original works from me at prior conventions. That trust means so much 💙💙💙 Shout out to my friends Annique and Coda for helping me out. Every few years I redraw this piece. My last one was in 2020! Wow!

Ash is one of my earliest characters. He's fourteen years old and he can do TWO kinds of magic in a world where people usually only get to do one. He is the specialest boy. He's the Chosen One. And he absolutely does *not* let that get to his head 😂

Ash still holds a special place in my heart, even after all these years. It's so fun to see how my style and technical ability have evolved 💙.
