Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

Ashe has a lot of dreams for the future. Many include being knights together, travelling the world together, maybe even teaching at the monastery together...? There’s only one thing that is the same in all of his dreams: You. And maybe a kitten for good measure. There’s always a kitten too. 

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Ashe has never kissed anyone before you, and so he’s a little nervous when the moment finally comes. He leans in slowly at first, but then quickly closes the gap and kisses your lips so quickly, you swore it didn’t happen at first. 

“Sorry...” He rubs the back of his neck and smiles sheepishly. “Uh, if you don’t mind, could I try that again?” 

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

Ashe is really shy about the whole thing, but he manages to get through the confession without tripping over his words. “Y/N, I’ve been thinking lately, about you... and us, in particular. I was wondering if you felt the same way I do about you? I like you a lot, Y/N... Will you be with me...?”

Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Byleth finds it hard to share their emotions sometimes, but they notice so much. Even the littlest things, like their s/o setting a cup of tea on their desk during a stressful day, it is noticed and very much appreciated. Byleth tries to replicate these deeds and often takes it upon themself to make a meal or cuddle with their s/o as thanks. 

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Towards the end of the war, Byleth notices it more. A fuzzy feeling deep in their chest, towards one specific person. They don’t think that anyone else could notice it, but of course Byleth’s students can see it... That one person that Byleth takes special time to train with, to eat with, to have tea with. It’s so obvious that some of them want to propose for Byleth...

Byleth’s confession is a little awkward, and their s/o thinks it’s adorable how they can’t look them in the eyes. They’re blushing, but by the end of confessing their feelings, Byleth leans over and touches their s/o’s face, with a caring look the likes of which you’ve never seen before. 

Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

Byleth has spent so long feeling like they’re on the outside looking in that they have developed a habit of being able to read others’ body language extremely well. They can usually tell how their s/o is feeling by the way they carry themselves... which can be pretty useful, of course.

Hilda can be incredibly “inspirational” when it comes to trying new things, but that’s usually because she wants her s/o to do something for her. “Does it matter if it’s all in the name of love...?” She questions with her trademark smile and twinkling eyes. 

Other than that, she’s surprisingly good at advice. For a noble, Hilda is rather wise when it comes to solving personal problems. She’ll gladly sit and help out her s/o, no matter how big or small the problem might be. 

While on the topic of personal problems, her s/o might just be the one to help her overcome her little laziness problem, buuuut... That’s up to you, now isn’t it? ;)

Mercedes is extremely honest with her s/o, and she would appreciate the same in return, though it’s certainly not required. If she does keep secrets, it’s never on purpose. Sometimes, she’s just a little scatterbrained and forgets!

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Mercedes is a wonderful kisser. Her kisses are so soft and gentle, but somehow always leave you wanting more. She’s practically an angel from above. She always wanted to give her first kiss to her s/o as a gift, so the first kiss is even more special between the two of you!

Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

Absolutely. Mercedes is your #1 fan as well as a wonderful sidekick. She is always cheering you on, no matter what it is you want to do. Art block? Let’s go have a picnic, and maybe it’ll strike up some inspiration! Struggling with tactics? Let’s take a break and talk it over together over lunch. She is always willing to lend a hand and believes in you more than anyone!

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o? 

Dimitri ponders over it for months. He has worked so hard to keep these feelings hidden, feeling unworthy of his s/o... but they have slowly convinced him that perhaps he is worthy. Perhaps he is not a monster. It comes up in a late-night discussion about such things, about how Dimitri has changed so much in so little time. “It is thanks to you, y/n... If you had not been here to help me... You mean a great deal to me,” he stammers. “Losing you would be... unthinkable. Please, I ask that you stay by my side.” 

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like? 

Being married to you would be a dream come true for Dimitri. To him, it’s everything he thought he’d never have. A peaceful, domestic life with the one he loves…? He’s thought on it a million times. 

He proposes after the war, just a day before his coronation as king. “Y/N, I don’t want to take this giant step without you by my side…” He confesses, slowly dropping to one knee. “You are the one I love the most, my confidant... Will you do me the greatest honor of marrying me, my beloved...?”

The marriage itself is a grand affair, a few months after Dimitri’s coronation. It is a reminder to the people, that after such a long time of war, it is still possible to find love. Your kiss during the ceremony sets off a loud cheer, and some of the citizens even reported seeing the ever-so-stoic Dedue shedding a tear or two. 

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

I imagine that Dimitri is like a cat, when alone at night he’s sprawled out on the bed and sorely missing you. He is also the type to curl up in one of your blankets, with it pressed to his chin, just to sit and relish in the smell of his s/o. He will be utterly embarrassed if anyone finds out about this embarrassing habit.

Ferdie is not one to be outdone! He seduces you with flowers, fancy teas, and anything else you may desire. However, when the moment actually comes, he finds himself... at a bit of a loss for words. “I... I love you!” He says in a single breath, and you might have to get him to say it again...

Ferdinand loves going riding with his s/o during the evening, and then taking a little break to watch the sunset. Its beauty does not even compare to you, of course... But the portrait of you and your smile with the multicolored sky as your background is one he never wishes to forget. 

XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

Very much so! Ferdinand is a huge cuddler, and he doesn’t mind being the big spoon or the little spoon. He’s fond of kissing your palms, though in public he’ll settle for kissing the back of your hand like the gentleman he is. Ferdie isn’t too affectionate in public, but he will absolutely hold your hand, and a lovely smile will be on his face the entire time.

Ghirahim, Lord of Demons and sword-master extraordinaire, liked to consider himself an expert at eloquent words and devoted speeches. 

But you were trying his patience. 

Really, even when he came up behind you and whispered passionate murmurings in your ear... you still assumed on friendship alone. Infuriating...

Today, he watched as you played with your miniature bokoblin. It was a tiny version of the monster species, not good for anything, but you had saved it when Ghirahim planned to dispose of it.

You named it Lin and always kept it nearby, like a pet. 

Amusing, maybe, but you spent so much time with it that the Demon Lord found himself greatly annoyed by the creature. 

“Y/N.” Ghirahim teleported behind you and leaned his face around yours. “You are looking especially ravishing today.” 

Ravishing? That was just another word for beautiful, right? Ghirahim was always such a good friend to you. You giggled at him. “Thanks. You too!” 

“Come with me.” He turned and stood before you, holding out a hand. “Today we shall make our date the forest temple. I would have you see my works bear fruit.” 

...Date? Wait a minute. “Are you flirting with me?” You asked with a nervous laugh. 

His groan was palpable. “I suppose I have been for the last year, but thank you for noticing.”

He sat with you, participating in this picnic that you had insisted on. You were doing your new favorite thing, that is, you were teasing him for being short. 

“Y/N,” Kimblee interrupted as you gave him a confident smirk, “a few inches doesn’t mean anything.”

“Yes, it does,” You emphasized. “It means I’m taller than you!” Your smirk only grew larger as you reached over and grabbed his hat, setting it on your own head and looking triumphant. 

“Y/N.” Kimblee repeated, but he sighed and gave in. You were kind of cute in his hat...

“Yes?” You asked sweetly, as if daring him to challenge you. You leaned over and onto him, pulling his hands into yours and then gently kissing the transmutation circles on his palms. 

He sighed, content with this... but only from you. “Nothing,” He decided before wrapping an arm around you. “You know you’re mine, Y/N?” 

“Only if you know you’re mine too.” You replied cheekily, before leaning over all the way to use him as a pillow. 

Kimblee gave a half smile at you. Sure, you were stubborn and chaotic and maybe even a little infuriating at times... But you belonged to him, and that was what mattered.

“Y/N,” Hríd smiled over at you as he led you to the borders of one of his favorite villages in Nifl, “I’m glad you could come with me today.” 

“Your subjects really adore you.” Hríd loved the way you ducked your head, avoiding his gaze shyly. “You will make a great king one day, Hríd...” 

That warmed his heart. “Thank you... But I didn’t bring you all the way out here just to meet some of my subjects, you know!” Hríd laughed and slowly put a finger under your chin, leading you to meet his eyes again.

“Because... I’ve been thinking.” Hríd’s confident smile made you a little less nervous, even if you were alone with the man you secretly adored. “One day I’d like to share that throne with someone, Y/N.” 

You almost felt your heart stop. If it wasn’t for the fact that his face was suddenly so close, you would’ve sworn he was talking about someone else, anyone else! “You would?”

“I would.” Hríd confirmed. He leaned very close and laid a sweet, quick kiss on the side of your cheek. “And that person would be you, Y/N.”

Ardbert, while being the Warrior of Light and a renowned adventurer, is actually a big softie. 

This you had discovered when you decided that you could no longer wait for him to ask you out. These things weren’t that hard, Ardbert, honestly!

He blushed and stammered a little in his reply, but of course it was a fervered yes. 

So that was how you ended up here, sitting in the midst of the Kingdom of Voeburt, reading a book aloud with Ardbert leaning against you.  

“And so the knightly maiden…” You paused to sneak a mischievous look at the man beside you. “…You’re not listening, are you, Ardbert?” 

“What?” He asked quickly, having been staring at your face. “…Yes, of course I was listening!” 

“Right,” You laughed at your boyfriend. “Because that starry-eyed look on your face said otherwise, you know…” 

Ardbert flushed indignately. “I wasn’t… I don’t look like that, y/n.” Ah, this man. Constantly in denial.

Captain Leif of the White Sparrows is not exactly the best at romance, but for his s/o, he was willing to work at it.

He’s always admired you from afar, and gaining the courage to ask you out was a long and awkward road, but he had done it. 

Now, after a few weeks of being together, Patia knew what Leif was planning simply from the looks he kept giving you, and she offered to oversee training for the White Sparrows that evening. Leif accepted. 

It was difficult to find a romantic getaway in the middle of a war, but Leif had managed. He brought you to a lovely restaurant, where the two of you ate, talked, and held hands under the table. 

“I have to confess, s/o,” Leif said as you were getting ready to leave, “I wasn’t sure if you would return my feelings for you. I’m very glad that you do…” 

“Of course, I do, Leif,” You giggled. He was rather endearing when nervous. “I love you.” 

“I love you too…” Leif couldn’t hide a smile at your adorable laugh. “I thoroughly enjoyed tonight. I hope you did as well?” 

“I did!” You assured him, taking his hand as he walked you back home. He was always such a gentleman. That was just another thing you loved about Leif. “I hope we can do this again soon…”

He smiled over at you, squeezing your hand. “We will. I swear it to you, s/o, we will.”

I just do Character x Reader for now!!

If you wanna request a character that’s not in the list of fandoms in the introduction post, feel free to shoot me a quick ask to see if I’m familiar with them!

If you aren’t sure if I’d be up for writing a specific character, feel free to ask that too!

When submitting your request, please go into specifics!! Requests such as “Alm with a small s/o” are a little difficult for me to write, so please phrase your request with something such as “Alm with a short s/o going on a date in the modern world” will help me tremendously! 

That being said, I do have the right to delete requests if they do not follow the rules. 

No NSFW please!! I’m just barely an adult so not really accustomed to that!

I won’t really write for yandere or anything like that

Other possible triggering content is a no too (feel free to ask if you’re unsure)

But that’s really it! I love my followers and I hope I can get to writing soon!
