Pippin is used to laugh off every bad thing that has happened or everything that has hurt him because he thinks it's for the best and not burden others (more than he has already been told that he does) but he ignores that this attitude hurts much more the people who care about him.

I need Faramir to remind him that it's ok to admit he's not well and he doesn't have to fake his laugh (he much prefers his genuine laugh) and the people who love him (including himself but he won't say it) will willingly share the weight of his burden.
