So I HAVE to know, why's Mérion want to catch Mare so bad? What will he do once he has her? How will he keep her contained once he catches her? And most importantly how DARE he pursue the poor fightless pixy, what a bully!

Well, Mérion is a magical creature hunter, which, in their universe, is an illegal job for most humans (unless they own a royal license, which Mérion obviously lacks). He usually hunts all kinds of creatures, but among all of them, the rarest and most wanted are fairies.

Humans would usually tear their beautiful wings apart and then sell them for huge amounts of money to be used in expensive jewelry (which was normally gifted to royal families), before either killing the little fairies or selling them to serve humans. (So cruel, ik 😭💔)

So yes, for Mérion, catching a fairy would be like winning the lottery… and he would probably sell her wings, as well as poor little Mare.

He was selfish like that at the beginning 😞💔

(And yeah, if he had caught her, he would’ve locked her inside a birdcage without hesitation.)

PEAK way for a tiny to be discovered is by accidentally getting trapped somewhere the giant is bound to reach into at some point. A backpack. A junk drawer. Laundry basket. Cereal box. Toolkit. Briefcase. Cookie jar. You name it.

Giant, practiced fingers slipping into the enclosure, ready to grab or rummage, the heat of living flesh making contact with the little person, and flinching, drawing back for a split second before it returns, and this time with confidence. Tiny being entirely enclosed in a fist and pulled out to face their inevitable fate. Yes.
