Is Minsung Real? ♥︎
My personal opinion and an opportunity to share yours! ♡
Okay so like just hear me out here. I know there I very strong opinions on both sides of the "is minsung real" question. And I'm just a random person on the internet, but i'd like to see if other people agree with me.
Personally? I think minsung is, in fact, real is some way. But first, one thing has to be established: men are allowed to have healthy relationships and not be gay. Like Chan and Felix for example, I think are incredibly close. But, I don't think Chan could see any of the members as anything other than younger brothers or children- or see himself as anything other than a superior to them. He'd think it's wrong since there's a bit of apower imbalance, even if it's small. So Felix and Chan can be very affectionate, but I Don think it'd ever cross that line. All that to say, these men, the whole group, are just men with healthy, loving relationships with each other. They love eachother and that's amazing and does not have to mean they are queer and romantically involved.
BUT! If they were both of those things, there's two important things to know: it's not our business, and there's nothing wrong with it. So Minsung could be romantically involved, and we can make fanific and dream about it as much as we want. But asking them "do you sleep in the same bed" is an invasion on their privacy. These men are people, like us, not just products for our entertainment. They have lives of their own, they deserve and have every right to keep that life private.
Now what's this entire thing saying? Why do I think Minsung is probably romantic? Because everyon in the group is physically affectionate with each other. But when Minsung does it, sometimes it has a different energy to it. The way Minho holds Jisung's thigh to get it to stop bouncing and then squeezes it to call him, it is very different than just putting his hand on on his leg- it holds a different kind of feeling behind it. Now, I could just be reading into things, but I swear there are hearts in Minho's eyes when he looks at Jisung. He has litterally been so busy staring at him, that he forgets to speak when it's his turn. Something I like to say at moments like those is "give me a heterosexual reason for that!" joking of course but also a little bit of a good question. Minsung is charged with a different energy than any other relationship in the group. We will never know for sure what that energy really is, but we can guess. And let me say, I personally think there's romantic tension somewhere in there.
But once again, we don't know, and we have no right to ask. We aren't entitled to their personal lives. But seriously, why they gotta be so cute together!?
