I'm now dedicating this blog to my journey in hellenic polytheism, to share some of my experiences.

I am also a witch aswell so I post a bit about that sort of thing on here. I keep it separate right now from helpol to not complicate things right now, I worship my deities, I don't work with them. Not unless they want to but that's not the kind of thing I'm ready for yet

something has irked me finally - it’s being able to “reblog” access to baneful spells. really even spells in general, and im complicit in that as well. something fundamentally bothers me about being presented (and almost influenced) by the option to work banefully as opposed to feeling the pain/hurt and searching/creating a personalized spell in a time of need. and it isn’t about access to spell craft resources either, i fully support info about correspondences and sourcing of materia. it’s the marketing of spell craft that i struggle with.

i say this as a witch who does baneful magic and wouldn’t ever gatekeep baneful spell craft.

learn the BASICS of spell work, learn your bases and suspensions, your additives and materia correspondences. learn which stones to keep out of which element. learn how to make witch salt. learn the fundamentals before copying spell work you found on the internet.

I actually sorta agree

There is merit in seeing how other people do their own spellwork and taking note though

But I never copy a spell. I've always done my own work but taken inspiration from other people.

I do think just copying a spell and hoping it works is honestly bound to fail, especially if there is no intention or real work behind that spell. You have to at least know what you're doing, especially for baneful workings.

Spells are very accessible, there's an abundance of inspiration. Plenty of examples to come up with our own tailored spells for our own needs and our own specific situations

Having my teeth removed really is making me really anxious

I feel guilty for not taking care of myself but also mad too because I went to get help for my mental health because I'm sick, I can't take care of myself the same as everyone else and yet I have been waiting 4+ years to hear anything about therapy. I'm on the waiting list, but unless you are actively in immediate danger to yourself and others, you will not see a therapist, apparently. Even if your mental illness is slowly destroying you, it's not considered important enough

Unless you go private for therapy, you will not be in the room with a therapist in my experience at least
