Iām going to piss off a lot of you and Iād be sorry but Iām not in the mood TO be sorry right now.
Music is a big part of my life. As in, I love it. I would have made it a career but I donāt want the fame that comes with that.
Yes, I talk about records my faves have broken but you know what I love most about that? That the fans didnāt try to do it, it just HAPPENED.
Nowadays, all any fans want to do is break records, and thatās literally all they seem to care about. Bad song? Who cares. Bad video? So what? Letās break a record anyway because we have this crazy desire to be the best even though we know they could do better!
No one wants to enjoy music anymore, and that pisses me the fuck off to no end. They bust their asses making this product for you but instead of sitting back and enjoying it, all anyone wants to do is get their faves to the top without a care as to whether or notĀ their faves want to be there. Contrary to popular belief, itās actually NOT all about records or views or any of that to them, itās about the music. The music they wanted to share with their fans, the same fans who turn around and step all over everyone else, bragging about the records theyāre going to āslayā just because they can.
Thatās why I donāt put my all into voting for awards or trending hashtags anymore, unless itās something SPECIAL. The best awards canāt be voted for. The best thing for an artist to do is to just be appreciated. Appreciation doesnāt mean laughing at everyone else just because you broke a record. Iām sure if you walked up to Harry Styles and said something like āyour riffs were superb in DMDā, he would appreciate it more than āwe broke the youtube/vevo record for DMDā.
As a Zayn fan, I just hope when his stuff drops, people care more about his music than trying to outdo 1D or Little Mix, or breaking a stupid record. If he wanted a fandom like that, he should have just stuck with 1D. If you want to show him love, buy the music, and tell him the parts you like about it. If you liked certain lyrics, tell him.Ā Tell others about it, but donāt be annoying about itĀ either. Iām not talking about āBuy____OniTunesā, although thatās not necessarily annoying. Request it on the radio stations.
But donāt be all about breaking records or anything. I donāt think Zayn cares about that, he just wants his music out there. Ā Ā

Over the past ten years, weāve seen this man go through hell and back, warring with outside influences and himself, dealing with racism, doubters, record labels trying to sabotage him, his name being dragged through the mud. There was one point we didnāt know if weād ever see him again.

Hello.
Itās been a while.
During the hiatus that I took from this blog and Tumblr in general a lot has happened.
As a matter of fact in the time since I quit posting to this blog, Zayn dropped two new albums and became a dad. He ended things with Gigi, had a couple of scandals that thankfully blew over. Liam died, which was quite sad even for someone who wasnāt exactly a fan of his, but I knew how important he was to a lot of people.
Finally, and most importantly, Zayn went on his first tour finally, and as I promised years ago, I did go to see him. And it was everything I could have ever dreamed. Those vocals live ā¦wowā¦
Proud is not even the word that comes closer to describing what I feel when it comes to Zayn Malik. When I quit posting to this blog, I never thought Iād see the day. Iād get to see that man syncing his songs live on stage in person. I knew heād get there one day. I just never thought Iād be able to see it for myself with my own two eyeballs.
The Zquad has been through so much these past ten years with that man. And now weāre finally seeing him get all the praise and love he deserves.
