Ok, I have thoughts and this is a nice enough void to throw them into.
First of all, I love that ShashaBambi finally kissed, and I'm so so glad that they immediately noped right back to being only friends. Film and Milk acted that out so well, it was clear that there is no spark. Though it must be said that they could act out the same scene and do make the spark exist, the show just doesn't call for that in this instance. They do seem like they are developing a great friendship, they are truly bestie material!
I love love loved ShashaGorya in this episode, we've truly come a long way. Gorya caved so quickly it was so funny to watch! All Shasha had to do was make a little sad face and Gorya just gives up. And their antique shop scenes were so lovely, from what Gorya said it seems as if the betrayal she experienced in her last relationship made her become filled with protective walls. She seems like such a romantic in her heart of hearts, she also has such good role models to how a loving relationship can look like. Makes me think she used to be softer, but now she's hiding so she doesn't get hurt again, at least not as easily.
On another note Shasha can't catch a break. I guess it is implied that she posed for some unsavory projects in her past. Also sounds like some really bad exploitation was going on... Poor Shasha, she got mixed up with the wrong woman, a greedy bitch(derogatory) who pretended to be her friend.. how do you get over that? Girl must be heartbroken, and(!) pushed to a corner...
PrimBambi are starting to get somewhere. Their main problem is their communication or lack thereof. If Prim shared more with Bambi and vice versa they could avoid 50% of their issues. For instance, if Prim had shared with Bambi how much of an asshole her dad is, Bambi wouldn't have given him a dime, she would've intimidated him off the set. You can see that once she knew, she instantly regretted doing that and tried to do aomthing to remedy the situation. I fear that Bambi is the same, she doesn't share with Prim as well. For bouth their sakes I hope they start actually talking to each other soon, cause they have something so precious between them.
Same goes for MinPraew... Min doesn't share what's on her mind, bottling up her thoughts and feelings and leaving Praew in the dark. It's bad enough that Praew needs to go back in the closet in order to be with Min, and considering that she doesn't even know why, adds a whole other level of instability to the relationship. The quiet resignation she shows every time Min introduces her as just a friend, you see that spark in her eyes dim a bit. Min is just so conflicted... She sees the damage she does to Praew, and knows that Praew deserves better, it is clear to me from View's acting. She's standing at the edg, too afriad to take that leap and truly give in. Being privy to her family dinamics even if just a little, explains a whole lot about why she is that way. If I were to assume, I'd say she felt attraction to girls as a child but repressed it because of how badly her family treated her aunt. It could be seen in the way Min reacted to the first times Praew touched her, it was small but knowing what i know now it looks like she wants it, but in the same breath afraid of it. What a dichotomy. It must be torturous.
This show is so fun, I bet once it's over, if I were to watch it again from the beginning, I'll notice so many acting choices that forshadow the charecter's past, and of course future. It's one of the things I truly love about tv and films, it's maybe a bit pretentious, but once you know about the added layers to the charecters and their individual backgrounds, you can see the little details and choices made to get where the story ends up. Kinda like Memento or Irreversible.
