Today is international men’s day.
I’m here for transguys, those who have transitioned, are transitioning, or can’t transition yet. You guys get a lot of shit, but you’re fabulous whatever happens. You will always be enough.
I’m here for cis guys, the tall, the short, the skinny, the fat, every one in between. You get a lot of shit that barely any of you deserve. You’re fabulous whatever happens. You will always be enough.
I’m here for Men Of Colour. You guys are amazing, you are beautiful and you are strong. You get so much freaking shit thrown at you by so many people, and none of you deserve it. You’re fabulous whatever happens. You will always be enough.
I’m here for men in the LGBT+ community. You fabulous, amazing people. The ones who are gay, bi, pan, poly, ace, demi, whatever you are, you get a lot of shit, but you can get through it. You’re fabulous whatever happens. You will always be enough.
I’m here for the guys with mental health issues. The guys with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar, everything else. God, you guys are amazing. There definitely isn’t enough visibility of you guys, you get so much shit coming from your own brain it’s unbelievable. To those who are still here, and those who didn’t quite make it, I love you. You’re fabulous whatever happens. You will always be enough.
And I’m here for the normal dudes. The average looking, ordinary guys. You probably don’t think you’re anything special. You’re wrong. You guys are fantastic, you take shit from people telling you how to appear, how you could do everything better. You guys are great. You’re fabulous whatever happens. You will always be enough.
You will always be enough. No matter what the world throws at you, i believe in you. You can do the thing. You can do it.
If you made it, I’m so proud of you. Seriously. Now just keep going.
If you don’t think you’re going to make it, Keep going. I promise you that it will get better.
If you didn’t make it, it’s okay. You tried very hard. I’m sad that you didn’t make it through, but I’m not angry. I know how it feels to be hopeless.
Guys, I’m here for you. Whatever happens, you are enough. You are manly enough, you are strong enough, you are amazing. I believe in you.
Let’s get rid of stereotypes. Let’s kill the toxic masculinity that’s been hanging around men like a plague for years.
You can be anything you want.
Good luck, guys. Stay alive and stay proud.
Happy International Men’s Day.
