thinking about parallels between Jaime Lannister and Lyanna Stark. thinking about the tourney at Harrenhal. them being practically the same age. similar heights, judging by the fact that Aerys was convinced it was Jaime under the Knight of the Laughing Tree’s helm.

Jaime Lannister, following a plan to join the Kingsguard to stay with Cersei… which backfired. Lyanna Stark, conned by an older and more cunning man who’d take advantage of her and start a war.

and both fates happened all because they were so young, and such brave warriors. maybe if Lyanna was still alive, she’d be a beauty, a knight. maybe if Jaime hadn’t become a Kingsguard, he’d never have slain a king.
