Here's a lil tip for writers with unfinished WIPs
if you like Dungeons and Dragons and are convinced you'll never finish any number of said WIPs, use them to craft a custom campaign. Who cares how drastically different they are? Why should it matter if this one has pirates and this one has a technologically advanced alien race who came to the planet in harmless search of sugar because their planet doesn't have it but somebody from another planet brought them some and they couldn't get enough of it? It's your world, go ahead and make it a mixed bag. And you could possibly even write down the things that happen as you play with your players, and use them to finish those WIPs. Nothing is impossible, sometimes you just need to take a different approach.
