So, about that allowing myself to be seen more (refer to previous posts), it tests you a bit. This morning, I was exhausted from a busy week, low on ze vitamins, but determined to get some shit done, something. This pic was one of the first that was taken. Looking them over I thought "fuckin hell, I didn't look like that in my head". I honestly thought my eyes would be more....smiling. And I zero'd in on all the things I didn't like. But, the person behind the camera reminded me "isn't that a part of the challenge?". Truuuuue. No direct light, no magical face filter, just my murderous face. Just lookin' at it now I'm laughing (come on it's funny, I look like I'm gonna kill someone, born with a bitch-face right here). But I'm also laughing because, I fuckin' love it. You up for this challenge? Anyone who wants to do this with me, I wanna keep doing it weekly. Don't pose, no looking at yourself on the screen nonsense so you're not controlling how you look, just look straight into the lens, have someone take it for you, don't use a filter that changes the shadows on your face or "improves" you, keep it natural, don't hype yourself up, just be as you are. And, tag me in it, :) I wanna see you ❤️. (Check my reaction to this photo in my story 😉). • • • #toronto #portraitmood #toronto_insta #iphone6 #bitchface #ikindafuckinloveit #shotwithlove #portrait #natural #montrealerintoronto #the6ix #montrealer #multifaceted #keepinitreal #torontobased #postthepeople #makemoreportraits #cestmoi #makeportraits #selflove #laughatyourself #torontoigers #mindfulness #lifestyle #womenoftheworld #beyourself #liveauthentic #transparency #supportfemaleartists #thebvnshee (at Riverdale, Toronto)
