it’s the fact that work is an every day thing that doesn’t sit right with me. like surely not

i should be able to do this once a week and make enough money for a whole month each time

a thing about me is i basically never notice a wig or other kind of hairpiece in tv/movies. it has to be party city territory for me to even twig it. people will complain about characters' wigs looking bad and i will nod along but there is like a 90% chance i did not notice for a second while watching. i consider this mostly a blessing.

The thing about Leverage is that even on the rare occasions where I don't believe a normal person would fall for something, I 100% believe a billionaire who's never been told "no" would. This is the same group of people that tried to visit the Titanic with a video game controller

Running the government like a business just means that they "care about the customers" aka the people that give them money. And if youre not rich enough to give these people cash you dont get anything

Like, yeah, you can reach out to people undergoing a similar crisis in worldview in private or anonymous channels, but if you do it all on TikTok or whatever, you're just making a spectacle of yourself and you should expect people to react as they would to any spectacle

Thinking of this viral TikTok of a 3× Trump voter who's now deconstructing her support for MAGA and who is breaking down because commentators are saying they'll never forgive her for her past and it's just like...girl, you don't need to vlog this. You don't need to stand in the village square loudly declaiming your sins for all to hear. You don't need to be in public on camera all of the time. There must be an ex-Trumper reddit or something if you don't have a support group in real life, but This Is Not the Way.
