GREETINGS, FELLOW CREATURE.

★ NAME: Bazookaboi (or Bazooka, or ML.) ★ PRONOUNS: They/Them (for privacy purposes). ★ CAN SPEAK: English and Spanish.

★ BASIC DESCRIPTION: I’m a multi-fandom/speculative biology artist and aspiring writer! I currently like drawing my OCs, and I enjoy trying to make them scientifically plausible.

The thing I post about the most currently is Project Ivilitium, my sci-fi/spec bio/dystopian worldbuilding project. Project Ivilitium takes place on a post-apocalyptic Earth. It mainly focuses on the Ivilitium genus: it’s main species, biology, cultures and behaviour. (It is in early development, and I’m using tumblr to help me organise and expand on ideas for it. Therefore, keep in mind that none of the lore that I post about it is fixed. Take everything with a grain of salt.)

I also really like weird uncanny hybrid creatures. (Especially ones mixed with a smidge of human… it makes for interesting anatomy.)

1: it kind of grew over time, the first time I really locked in on it and started setting rules/making the groups was during covid though.

I don't have a lot on other undomesticated city animals, so heres a doodle of the one I do have: cuyos

Cuyos are from the Prectikar homeplanet, and managed to get here after the Old Empire's genebank meant to be for historical/scientific research was comprised by a certain AI who reaaaallllyyyyyy liked seeing how to put together alien species. Now they're loose and EVERYWHERE. the main reason why they're such a problem+outcompeting things like dogs is that they're smart, close to a 5 year old smart. They can learn the meaning behind many words (such as no, there, me, you, etc), imitate some words, and use rudimentary tools. And they like causing problems on purpose. The dark openings on their nose and neck, as well as the fin things on their butt are for making scents, and their main defense mechanism is getting really stinky and making the aggressor go away. They travel in packs and are nocturnal. The DRSS has a close cap/monitor on their populations, but in places like the Skyfall Exclusion Zone where regulation is sparse, there are very large populations (kept in check by the Radiation, of sourse). I'm thinking they're from a similar group as kar, but very broadly speaking (like how felines and canines are both mammals)(?)

Art Fight attack for BAZOOKABOI [Art Fight] [Tumblr], of their sona, ML, with a guest appearance from my character HVAC Guy!

I saw the bit about their love of air conditioners and immediately knew I had to add my guy that does HVAC to AF just so I could do this This is actually the hot end of the AC and not the cold end, but I pass by the big output fans of the central air at work whenever I clock in, and always thought they were pretty cool; and large enough to perch upon! The styling of the exhaust is based on the sparkling dusty winds of Rain World's Outer Rim region!
