Doja – Way It Goes
This track isn’t exactly a member of a genre of music that I usually review, but it was so catchy that I had to review. I had a lot of fun listening to this track, it was just well constructed and easy to listen to. I loved the composition and small group feel. Despite just being a small group of people, the sound was huge. The whole spectrum of sound was filled nicely and worked well together. The vocals were great, the drums kept the energy well and had great fills in points of reflection throughout the song. The guitar was awesome as well, especially at the solo portion. All in all, a great rock track. Listen to their album: “It’s me, You”, another favorite of mine is “Colours”. And yes “Colours” is spelled correct because they’re from one of my favorite places in Canada, Vancouver.
Awesome work Doja! Keep it up!

Eduardo Nin - Dillion - Thirteen Thirtyfive Remix
Wowee wow, I’ve been dead on this blog for a while. So here I am not being dead anymore. This track I should have reviewed quite a while ago. Anyways, this track caught my attention in its cleanliness. All the sounds are so well equalized that everything just fits together incredibly. I love the vocals from the original song. The bass is in point and rumbles in just the right way, giving it a great deep house feel. The effects are awesome and aren’t too overbearing which is nice. My personal favorite was the addition of trumpets about half way through the track. Once again, Eduardo Nin has outdone themselves.
Awesome work Eduardo!

LeCube – Vicetone Feat. Pia Toscano –Siren Remix
Wow, this track was simply incredible. I’ve heard the original track but it doesn’t compare to this. I think that this remix is far better. To start, the drop was catchier. I absolutely loved the hard bass in the background of the chorus. The melody was great and the synth was perfect to really push that sound through the mix. The builds were great as well as the little effect additions right after the chorus. I particularly enjoyed the echo popping sounds at 2:08. All in all, I really enjoyed this track. It was well produced and you could tell a lot of effort went into the creation of this remix.

Solunn – Give Me Everything

Incredible. This track simply blew me away. As a whole, the track was well mastered and incredibly fine-tuned to sound as good as it possibly could. I loved the choice of instruments throughout the track. Each one had a purpose in constructing the complex life of the piece. The vocals were some of the best I’ve heard in a long time. The style of voice and the artist that was selected was perfect for what I believe you were trying to pull off with this song. I could hear inspiration from many different sources throughout this track. That is what I enjoyed the most. I could hear aspects from new style house tracks, mellow lounge tracks, oldstlye smooth jazz instrumental groups and experimental bands as well as RnB tracks. Someone would be hard-pressed if they said they didn’t like this track because it has something for everybody in it.
All in all, I loved the clear sounds, the great mastering of instruments and vocals, and, above all, the unique style that you incorporated into this track. You are truly on your way to finding your own sound!
Awesome work once again Solunn!

Cesar & Oscar - Kapitol
Wow, you guys never cease to amaze. I love this track. You guys have a way with building energy that gives you a great step up from a lot of people. Not only do the builds sound professional and extremely well mastered, they seem meticulously thought out. Every decision that was made had a purpose and that purpose was to get people jumping at a club. For the most part, my personal taste in music is centered around more mellow tracks that tend to only build in a certain melodic intensity. You guys are one of the exceptions to my taste. Your catchy melodies and intense builds keep me interested much longer than most dance tracks do. I think the reason it attracts my attention so much is the fact that despite your focus on the builds and drops themselves, you aren’t afraid to push a sense of melody transformation and growth throughout those builds. Once again, Amazing work Cesar & Oscar!

Oliver Chang - Ember
This track was incredible. After an incredibly smooth build, it transitioned into a bass-heavy chorus which blew me away. Everything was cleanly mastered, and the ideas fit extremely well within the piece. Nothing felt out of place, everything had a purpose. I personally enjoyed the echoing metallic hits at the start of the second build. I thought that was a unique touch. The voice sampled synth was not overbearing and, once again added to the song rather than stealing attention away. I loved this piece.
Great work Oliver Chang!!

RoboDrop - Synergy
What a great way to start the week. After a long break of not writing music reviews due to University, I forgot why I had picked this track to be reviewed, but I was pleasantly surprised by the intense energy and great feels. The drop hit wonderfully hard. This track had an essence of retro space-inspired gaming that. It has the right intensity and grittiness to bring up the feeling of playing against someone in one of those games. All the synths were well mastered and had a certain punch that I loved. RoboDrop, you have a way with building energy. I loved this track. It was awesome.

Schier – Everything I Miss
I was blown away with the start of this track. Everything was perfectly smooth and well mastered. The vocals were crisp and wonderful. When the beat and rapping was introduced, I was pleasantly surprised with all the aspects of the song. This song has a catchy chord progression and solid lyrics. My personal favorite part of this track was the electric guitar inspired synth at 1:16. It just topped the song off perfectly. All in all, the vocals, the rapping, and production were all well done.
Amazing Work!!

I am in LOVE with this song. That guitar riff at the beginning was mind-blowingly good. Honestly, I just keep coming back for that part. Then I remember the rest of the song is just as good. The vocals were great and clean, peaking through the track just right. The main bassline was awesome and as smooth as I could have ever wished for. Every aspect of this track was mellow and unique. Nothing seemed forced into it. Every sound had a purpose and everything was mastered to perfection!

Reggio - Space
For people who follow me, you know I love a good build. There is something special about a build that can convey a feeling. This build in particular gave me a feeling of epic preparation, which is what I think Reggio was trying to accomplish with his build. The main drop was sick, it had some great dirty synths and an addicting melody. All in all, it was a great track.
Keep up the great work!!

LeCube Ft. MC Lars - Brooklyn
I’ve personally not dabbled too much into the Bounce Genre but when it’s done right, it can be immensely effective in getting people moving. This track is a perfect example; It’s not too harsh, it’s not too tame. It has the right amount of grit and it just gives off an aura of a fun time. The rapping in it was great too. I thought that added to the whole theme of the track. The lyrics seem to agree with the upbeat, easygoing vibe that I get from it. The build and drop were awesome. I personally enjoyed the bubbly synth that seemed to be this tracks shtick. The falling noise synth at 1:43 was absolutely stunning. It was so clean and pitched dropped in just the right way. Despite it just being a noise synth, it takes talent to fit the right type of noise transition into a track.
Awesome Work LeCube and MC Lars!!

Bullseye - Frost
Right out of the gate, this song pulsed with energy, giving a great drumstep start that got me really excited for what was to come. The build was great, giving an awesome taste of what it was building to. It kept the energy while still giving ideas of ambience and chilling synths. Then the drop hit. It took on a half-time feel from the build while still managing to expand on the energy that it had built up. The release was great. The interlude was great, it allowed a perfect duration of a break before the second big drop of the track. The second drop was my personal favorite. It added a few new components and switched some things up in the right way to pique my interests. All in all, this track was beautifully mastered, clean, and catchy!
Awesome job Bullseye!!
