the idea of going to the movies alone being like sad and pathetic is crazy to me like thats barely a social event to me. If you try to talk to me during a movie at the movies I will kill you.

random but here is a recipe for cold peanut noodles that you can make during hot weather because i just ate this and had a fantastic time
2tbsp of peanut butter. a splash of rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup. some chili flakes, some sesame seeds. a splash of water to thin it out. now you put in your noodles (cooled!!!! boiled and rinsed so they’re cold!!) and then some chopped up cucumber or carrot or avocado or cabbage or any crunchy vegetable. i just used cucumber
you can also put in lime juice or herbs or sriracha or grated garlic/ginger or anything like that; tofu/tempe/meat for more protein etc. noodle wise this can be ramen soba udon whatever, i used soba. enjoy homies

Joined ur blog for the heated rivalry posting, now looking to get into real hockey (shivers). Low-key why is the Celebrini kid so hyped? Is it because he scored the most points on the sharks last year? I don’t see him winning any of the tournaments he’s is so I’m confused why he’s so hyped. What am I missing?
awesome question thank you for giving me the opportunity to glaze mack. gotta be one of my favorite pastimes. and he makes it so easy. top 5 in league (like the whole entire league) in scoring (4th overall in regular season 25-26), youngest college player to win the hobey baker, youngest nhl athlete ever selected for canada’s olympic hockey team (where he played on 1st line), first nhl player to score a penalty goal for canada in olympics history (fun fact: also his first ever attempt at a penalty shot so he’s 1/1 in his career), most points scored by a teenage nhl player in olympic hockey history, youngest team canada worlds captain since the 1920s, appointed to multiple all star teams, holds multiple individual achievement awards (USHL, NCAA, worlds, etc), sharks franchise points record holder, youngest ted lindsay nominee in the history of the award, holds multiple NHL & franchise records (currently sits in multiple top 3 positions league wide, among crosby and gretzky + mackinnon and mcdavid), 4th in most points scored by a teenager in a single season (surpassing crosby), dragged a failing team within reach of a wild card playoff spot in the span of one single season, contributed to a whopping 46.3% of all goals scored by the sharks during regular season. and this is just what i remember off the top of my head. read this. & watch this. & also keep in mind that he’s pretty likable and is widely respected in the league so of course since he is exceptionally talented and notably friendly most conversation about him will skew positive because he has earned that. he’s an incredibly gifted two way forward and is recognized as a cerebral and tactical player. his ability to make plays is rarely seen in athletes his age & he’s very well developed for someone only in their sophomore season. plus hockey is a team sport so like if you’re referring specifically to canada’s recent loss at worlds, there were a few significant issues with that team (coaching, roster, et cetera) and there is nothing he could do about that (crosby could not save them either lol). worth noting that he was such a significant asset to that team that he was being double/triple shifted in their final two games. the fact he has yet to receive any significant team accolades in his professional career doesn’t really mean that much tbh because as a player his own individual merit is undeniable. if you’re serious about getting into hockey and genuinely want to know what it is that’s so special about him i really recommend you just watch him play. he’s crazy + delightful to watch. you can tell he genuinely loves what he does & he takes a lot of responsibility/accountability and he doesn’t prioritize personal achievement or attention over the team’s needs/success. genuinely a remarkable player. and idk i just think he’s neat
