y'all ever think of the possibility of kimi antonelli having once done a bit of online stalking and stumbling across these cursed pics.
me and bro before The Incident
i think people’s issue with george is that he’s not aggressive enough, not “good” enough, he follows the rules and that he usually knows better than kimi, marcus dudley and his own engineers.
whenever he keeps the setup his engineers give him, he comes 4th-6th, and whenever he has his own setup, he comes p1-p2. his own engineers fuck up his car and don’t seem to take accountability. george doesn’t take accountability because nothing that goes wrong his ever his fault. and fans hate that.
fans of other drives hate that they can’t blame george. they hate that they can’t give another reason as to why they hate him.
he went a whole season without a dnf, and his first dnf since 2024 was in canada. which, as we know, was a PU failure. he led that entire race, while kimi went off track every four turns.
people hate that he is better then kimi. sure, kimi wins more, but george has better podium stats. when kimi doesn’t win, he’s either out of the points or p3. whenever george doesn’t win, he’s on the podium or in the points.
if we genuinely look at his and kimi’s last races & the public’s reaction, it’s very obvious who the fans and the team prefer.
melbourne, george won and got hate for it. kimi came p2 and everybody cheered because it was his second year and he got a podium.
china, kimi won and everybody loved him. understandable, it was his first win. good for him. george had a car failure and came p2.
japan, kimi won again and he was called the new senna. george had yet another car issue and still came p4 with a car that barely worked.
miami, kimi won once again and everybody said he was easily the best on the grid. george had a car issue AGAIN, his peddles were too far back, and he still finished 4th.
canada, kimi won again and everybody called george washed. george led the entire weekend. pole in sprint qual, p1 in sprint, pole in qualifying and p1 the majority of the race, until he had a PU failure.
monaco, kimi won again and everybody said he’d be world champion at the end of the season. george’s team didn’t tell him if he’d served his penalty, they didn’t tell him if he needed to pit, they didn’t tell him anything. he dropped from p3 to p14 because of his team.
barcelona, lewis won and everybody loved him. george came p2, because his team fucked up and his car couldn’t turn properly. he was once again called washed for coming p2. kimi dnfed.
austria. george won, and everybody called him a cheat. they said it was unfair that he won and that charles deserved it. just because he lifted during a single yellow in qualifying. kimi finished p3 after breaking track limits 7 times,
silverstone. charles won and everybody praised him. george came p2 even with a fucked up car. kimi drove over a kerb and ruined his car and ignored his engineer, who was yelling at him to come in. he could not control the car properly, people argued he shouldn’t have gotten the penalty for track limits. he would’ve never gotten the penalty if he’d come in, the car was unsafe to drive. he couldn’t control it around kerbs, so he wouldn’t have able to control around another driver.
when kimi loses, his team is blamed, bad luck is blamed, his age is an excuse, he is babied and forgiven, even when it is his own fault.
when george loses, he is blamed, his “divaness” is blamed, his emotions are blamed. he is criticised and hated no matter what he does, no matter who’s mistake it is.
george russell will always be blamed, hated ridiculed and called nicknames like “georgina” “princess george” “diva” “prissy”.
he is not an aggressive driver, he never has been, because he doesn’t need to be. he doesn’t need to be desperate and violent to win.
kimi is not prepared for the feeling of falling behind because of how toto taught him. when he loses, he yells and insults people. he gets desperate and tries incredibly hard to seem better than he is. he ignores his teams orders and drives recklessly to get one point instead of retiring and getting on with his weekend.
that is why people hate george russell.
because he is more calm and collected than their favourite drivers.
because he can win without calling his teammate or opponent a fucking idiot.
because he can drive without being aggressive.
because george can drive safely with a fucked up car.
because they don’t like his attitude.
because he is more likely to become a world champion than charles leclerc and kimi antonelli are.
"who suffered more, jesus christ or george russell?" hilarious, 10/10 irony, tasteful for Gordon Ramsey's verdict
"who suffered more, jesus christ or kimi antonelli?" disrespectful, unfounded, absurd, an uniformed joke
date idea : i sit you down and i explain why george russell is an undervalued driver in the fandom and why people need to realize how amazing he actually is
there’s something so sinister about the way toto has been undermining george. saying that george didn’t have pace in spain and then it came out his front wing was maladjusted. and then shutting down george saying the car didn’t have speed in silverstone when marcus confirmed during the race it didn’t have speed, only to come out for days later in a magazine interview admitting that george did have speed loss.
downplaying george’s car problems during race weekends and then meekly admitting to it afterwards when you know 90% or the fans are only paying attention during race weekends. making george feel like he’s not doing good enough and then turning around talking about how george is “so resilient.”
meanwhile, kimi has one single issue and the whole house has to stop to accommodate him. kimi was driving so erratically he gave himself a penalty and the narrative is poor uwu bebezito pls penalties are soooo unfair. “how was kimi supposed to know he’s supposed to lift during single flag” 🥺 as if he isn’t a professional f1 driver. literally grooming kimi into becoming an entitled whiny little baby while simultaneously shitting on george. toto wolff you WILL go to hell.
"its a good time to check in with zak brown, ceo of mclaren" it is never a good time to check in with zak brown, ceo of mclaren
I have accepted that I will make it to my sixties, having spent every world cup in recent memory bringing up over and over Cape Verde 2026 and how they scared the shit out of Argentina
Never seen a driver as lucky as Russell. Doesn’t do anything yet ended up in podium.
Sure :) I mean seeing this whole season has definitely proved us that russell is a lucky driver!!
In china, George suffered a front wing failure in Q2 followed by a mysterious gearbox and electronics issue in Q3 that briefly stalled his Mercedes on track. Making him 2nd non the less in the race.
In Japan, George had a race-derailing software bug. The glitch forced his car into a charging mode in defense against Charles Leclerc. Making him place 4th.
In Miami, George struggled with understeer, overheating tires in twisty sections, and a lack of front-end grip compared to his teammate. Making him end up 4th.
In Canada, George Russell even tho he had mastered a well deserved pole position in qualifying , he suffered a race-ending catastrophic battery failure on Lap 30 while leading during the race. The issue completely shut down the car's electronics and power, which suddenly left him without engine power or proper braking. Resulting in a dnf.
In Monaco, George Russell's race was derailed by a botched penalty execution. After an initial penalty for pit-lane speeding, his Mercedes team failed to hold the car for the mandatory five seconds during a pit stop, resulting in a severe drive-through penalty that dropped him to 13th.
In Barcelona, George Russell's race was compromised by a severe oversteer issue caused by a pit stop error. Mercedes revealed that a faulty adjuster gun incorrectly set his front wing flap during his final stop, which ruined the car's aerodynamic balance and made the rear tires slide. Going from 1st to 2nd.
In Austria, George Russell secured a win at the Austrian Grand Prix despite suffering a severe water system failure in his Mercedes that left him unable to take on fluids for the duration of the race.
But yeah, George is incredibly lucky this season and has had every podium handed to him, You’re absolutely correct 😄
(gathered all this information by a google search by the way)
The constant re-framing of everything around Antonelli is mind-boggling. When he cries, he baby. When he complains on the radio, he's adorable. When he bottles, it's just eagerness. When he drivers in an unsafe manner, it's grit.
The most bizarre thing is how they are outright copying everything George Russell and forcing it onto Antonelli and then it's suddenly the best thing someone has ever done.
George has the T-pose because he pushed against all the mean comments and clowning trying to take him down. Antonelli has a noncommittal "signature pose" because George has one, but he's supposedly so full of personality.
George is known for being smart and analytical, so articles spring saying Antonelli is the most intelligent creature and comprehends the new regulations better than his teammate. As if we can't see that he's being remote controlled by Bono.
People start to sympathize with George's string of bad luck, then it's soon flipped around to poor Kimi is the unlucky one, while George does nothing and gets everything handed to him.
George has a couple of weekend when his car isn't falling apart and handily outperforms Antonelli (what a surprise!), and suddenly there are "analysis" "proving" George is much slower even when he wins.
George talks about having the support of Mercedes, Ola and Toto in these hard times, and immediately the media is all about how Mercedes is Antonelli's family while they cherrypick some picture to prove everybody hates George, from the other driver to his own team.
George has said nothing but praise for Kimi's driving, while Antonelli is busy making up mind games and shading his teammate to Italian media. And George is the two-faced one.
Now they are even dressing Antonelli in a suit and sending him to Wimbledon to latch himself to Sinner, despite Jannik repeatedly saying he's very close to George and that he is rooting for him above anybody else.
There are countless exemples over this year. It's so persistant there's no way it isn't deliberate. What kind of influence does Antonelli's camp have that they got most of F1 media to put so much effort into turning everything he does into the best thing someone has ever done?
Also, someone at the top at Mercedes has to be into this as well, giving the very strange communication going on at their social media, post-race comments and race debriefs, often giving contradictory information and backtracking stuff.
Austria's celebrations showed that a large chunk of Mercedes is plenty happy to see George win. Even Toto seemed completely fine with it. So it may or may not be him who is pushing George down to hype Antonelli up. Or maybe the Antonellis have some shit on him as well, who knows. It's all speculation on my side anyway.
And indignation!
I'm not usually into conspiracy theories, but, like I said, the pattern is too consistent to be a coincidence at this point.
(i'm about to wax peter drury levels of poetic, so strap the fuck in)
cabo verde is just a tiny little nation off the coast of west africa, with a population just shy of the city of detroit. they’re a nation mostly forgotten by the world, made of two volcanic islands. a people who live mostly peaceful, unremarkable lives.
when they qualified for the world cup, literally no one knew who they were, let alone where. a small country, meant to be a blip on the path of the giants amidst them. and then they held spain to a draw.
most people said it was a fluke, a bad showing by spain and a stroke of luck for them combined, because no way in hell can a 40 year old goalie stop lamine yamal, right?
then lightning struck twice.
they did that with uruguay, holding them to 2-2. uruguay, former multiple world champions. over a remarkable run in an already remarkable world cup, cabo verde came in second in a group with spain, uruguay and saudi arabia. they are david, facing down goliath with no fear, only squared shoulders.
today, they held lionel messi’s argentina to the very edge of their sanity, making them work over 3 hours to earn this victory. three hours of relentless defense, some of the best goalkeeping i’ve ever seen from a man who did not pick up those gloves until his 20s, and a team unshaken by the giants they were facing.
they lost, yes, but they lost 3-2 to lionel messi’s argentina, the same team that won the previous world cup in a journey worthy of a fairytale of its own. they say that miracles don’t happen - and they don’t, because this isn’t a miracle.
this is the hero’s journey, and we have all just experienced the incredible privilege it was to bear witness.
“winning at george's home race would be a statement" how that bit him in the ass
