Thoughts on the Star trek 2009 reboot?

oh boy. im Almost afraid to answer this because i know the reboot has a huge following but i really cant stand it. i avoid it as much as i can. i get that a lot of people were introduced to star trek with the reboot and its understandable. but ughhhhh..... i dont like the recast and i dont like the visuals... the characterizations are really off imo and the entire thing just feels cold. yk what i mean? its stale bread to me. and i cant say im a big fan of the whole kelvin timeline shebang either. im a tos trekkie forever and ever
