it kind of disturbs me as to why tubbo is so not bothered about tommy’s supposed death. it might just be because he hasn’t been into the roleplay in a few days, but it just doesn’t sit right with me. you’d think that tubbo, his best friend, would be more torn up? it could be plausible that it was so traumatizing that his friend committed suicide that he is just blocking it and trying to avoid it, but he still mentioned it? several times? very nonchalantly? yes that could still be the case but usually when you avoid something traumatic you don’t still bring it up, even briefly. and why hasn’t he started work on the funeral, or had anyone else do it? they’ve started working on the festival before tommy’s funeral. tommy, ex vice president and founder of l’manburg. tub is best friend tommy. it’s just strange.

here are two happier headcannons for the smp since we’re being pumped full of angst:

-remember when tommy called wilbur “wilby”? well since sbi family dynamic is canon, imagine that when tommy was a baby he couldn’t pronounce wilbur so instead he called him wilby. that’s why tommy was so embarrassed when wilbur heard it, he hadn’t called him wilby in years and had grown out of it, but he was nervous and scared so it just slipped out.

-we all know the technoblade shapeshifter theories/headcannons, right? well what if that’s canon. the genes had to have been passed down, so what if wilbur got some of those genes as well, he just never used them. now ghostbur has horns. what if he finally used those abilities to shapeshift some horns to match Friend, his sheep. sheep have horns, and ghostbur just wanted to match with Friend! :)

Tommy is choosing to become a terrorist, going against L'manberg, the country he built with his own hands, and all of his old friends, to get what he wants the most.

Tubbo is preparing a festival that is meant to show the strength and hospitality of his country, which is really just a front for an execution of one of the people on the other side of the conflict.

imagine:

they’re at tommy’s funeral. tubbo is getting ready to say a speech to honor his best friend. ghostbur comes wandering by and see everyone sad. he starts passing out blue and asking what’s happened. someone tells him that it’s tommy’s funeral. ghostbur gets confused and starts talking about how tommy isn’t dead, he’s living with technoblade! he starts talking about how they’re teaming up and how the family is back together and how it’s so great. he then sees ranboo and questions why ranboo was here since he also saw tommy with techno just days before. everyone is bewildered. they ask ranboo if that’s true, but he can’t remember. tubbo looks at ghostbur with tears in his eyes and tell him to go away. he tells him that he’s just a ghost and his eyesight and memory can’t be trusted. he tells him that tommy is dead and there’s nothing any of them could do about it. he tells ghostbur to stop spreading lies and to just leave. tubbo blames himself. ghostbur is confused. tommy is alive and well

ranboo knows tommy is with techno. tubbo thinks tommy is dead. tubbo wants to hold a funeral. hmm i wonder if ranboo will tell tubbo about tommy, or keep it a secret. it would be interesting either way.

we didn’t get too much this stream but what we did get was big.

like no one showing up to tommy’s party but dream? tommy taking off his armor and throwing it and his only weapon into a pile the second he saw him without argument?

dream convincing tommy that tubbo purposely threw away and burned his compass? tommy making the bridge harder to traverse in retaliation and almost throwing his compass away?

tommy giving a bunch of hints that he is suicidal and thinks that dream is his only friend now?

dream giving tommy his channeling trident as a gift for their bonding at the party?

god, tommy is being manipulated and i think he knows it, but he just doesn’t care because at least someone is giving him attention and showing that they care about him.

i’m really nervous to see what happens next, but i’m also so very excited.

Dream is threatened by Tommy, which is why he’s manipulating him. The first time Dream made him give up his armor, Tommy fought against it. This last time, Tommy did it without thought.

I know Dream feels threatened by Tommy, because Tommy is someone who never took what he gave laying down, (and as soon as he realised Dream had nothing on him, he easily convinced everyone but Tubbo to go against Dream. He has influence).

What I don’t know is why he’s conditioning him like this. He feels threatened, but why does that matter now, if Tommy’s been exiled? What is he planning?
