people keep saying season 1 of black sails is bad (just read someone call it the worst kind of 2010s slop) and it pisses me off sooooo much. s1 gave us i will be your king and this ends when i grant them my forgiveness not the other way around and this place is just sand it cannot love you back and fruit fruit tit tit and three weeks is a long time we might be friends by then and who the fuck is billy and it bothers you doesnt it? what they think my god it must be awful being you so put some goddamn respect on season 1's name. black sails ad a whole would not exist without season 1

I find it very hard to sympathise when characters in black sails are like "Flint is CRAZY!!!! You can't trust him, he'll beat you to DEATH if you get in his way!!!" because like. he's right. he's literally always right. And if you just listened to him, he wouldn't have to beat you to death now, would he? godddd 🙄
