Xing is a Cat Demon. He was taken in by an old lady who lived on a mountain. This old woman was a doctor/healer and she used to take Xing along her trips down to the nearby village. She taught Xing her healing practices and he really enjoyed helping others. Once the old healer passed, Xing decided to be a traveling healer. Unfortunately, most humans and demons were hostile to him.
Xing was often attack or chased out of villages just for being a demon. After those experiences, had started having self-esteem issues which is why he make himself look more human than demon and would offer demons potions to look "better"
One day he was chased out of a village, he was cornered then pushed to a strong current river.
That's when he was saved by Lihua.
Over time they became best friends and Xing became comfortable to let go of his Glamour around Lihua. He does become a love interest for Lihua later on. Once he finds out that MK likes Lihua. Xing and MK have a rivalry over this, it's nothing extreme. It's more like, "who's going to ask her out first" type of thing. Red Son is not amused and often unintentionally/intentionally "ruin" their attempts because he wants to look out for his cousin. Lihua is unaware of this going on. Beside that going on Xing becomes the main healer in the Monkie gang when he later joins the group.
Aizhen is a Celestial Maiden and Princess Iron Fan's younger sister. After PIF left the Celestial Realm Aizhen (a child at the time) decided to become a Celestial Maiden PIF was supposed to be in order to restore their family's honor. After a few centuries she achieved great power and success becoming well known. A fan weapon was created for Aizhen once she was accepted to serve the Jade Emperor's Court. She is later given a position to watch over Tao and Lihua with Nezha and Yuxan during Lihua's stay in the Celestial Realm. She was under the impression that Lihua time in the Celestial Realm was for her studies and potential possibility of also serving the Jade Emperor. Aizhen adores Lihua like the sister she never had.
Aizhen still feels very bitter for her older sister leaving. Her feeling of betrayal later turned into anger. Which is why the sister's interaction was very complicated, but deep down they both miss each other and want to reconcile. PlF wrote a goodbye letter for Aizhen when she left. Aizhen still has it and reads it every now and then.
Yuxan is a Celestial. He takes great pride in being a Celestial Guard. He strives to be a Celestial General one day. He trained diligently and his efforts did not go unnoticed. So when he got a letter informing him that he's been special selected for an assignment by the Jade Emperor himself, he was very pleased. However, he was confused when he found out he'll be watching over a little White Furred Six-Eared Macaque child. This confusion soon subsided as he believed the Jade Emperor had a good reason for this. He did his best in helping Nezha train Lihua as sometime Nezha needed the help. He also was under the same impression as Aizhen. He made sure to follow the strict regiment on Lihua's studies. He developed a habit of checking up on Lihua with Aizhen over the years.
Unbeknownst of him and Aizhen, they were both their to keep tabs on Tao, Nezha and Lihua. They would have meetings with the Jade Emperor and that's where the Jade Emperor ask about Lihua.
The two being unaware of Lihua's situation who speak honestly on what's going on with Lihua's growth.
Lucky for Lihua, everything was going well and they only had good things to say about her.
The Jade Emperor is still wary of Lihua's existence.
