On this occasion of the tenth (TENTH) anniversary of this blog, I thought it a good time to throw a little spotlight back on where it came from, because I wouldn’t still be doing this today without the incredible tumblrpon community that was there when I started. And while most of these blogs are no longer active and their creators have moved on, I’d like to take a moment to celebrate this creative community and all the wacky, unique things it came up with. A million different interpretations of the same character, side stories of side stories of side stories, AUs, crackships, mashups, crossover storylines, metablogs, blogs where all the versions of a character hang out together… Stay weird, tumblrpon.

I should also mention that I did not have the space, time, or wrist health to draw everyone I wanted to in this picture! Even up to the end when I was squeezing horses in to every spare space I could find I knew I was going to have to make some cuts. This also isn’t a complete inventory of every blog that “matters”, it’s skewed towards ones that I remember and/or interacted with, and most of them have been dead for several years at this point. But whether I drew your horse or not, everyone’s invited.

Its been so goddamn long since I started reading along, chatting with you, spending a very cramped weekend in a hotel room at BUCK with you, Ahmedz and others to make ends meet, me removing the Ask-Firenze blog from existence... Its been so goddamn awesome to watch you grow and become an even more fantastic artist and storyteller. You inspire me to get up and running on my own work (procrastination is a bitch).
