Sometimes the gods will seem like they aren't there, but they are.
Sometimes you will feel like a small child learning how to ride a bike. You can feel the hands on your shoulders, you can hear their voice close by. Then, suddenly, you don't feel their hands and their voice is farther away.
They didn't abandon you in your time of need. They're watching you take everything they've taught you to apply it. They've got the band-aids if you need them, and they're standing at the top of the driveway watching.
They cannot pedal that bike for you. They cannot hold onto the bike so you never fall.
They're watching you and they are proud. They are proud even if you fall down or crash.
Don't panic. Now's your time to show them what you've learned! Go as far as you can. You're not alone.

Happy Love Day to those who celebrate! đĽ°â¤
Greek Deity/s: Dionysos
Any Epithet/s?:
Any topic/s (praise/request/thanks/personal experience)?: One on mental health, especially relating to being transgender
O, Dionysos, I sing of you, twice-born king, ivy-crowned and ever-changing you, lord, who exists in all forms and expressions you, lord, who unfixes all norms and with passion releases us into ourselves.
My words I raise to you upward curved lips and open arms in your subtle form. You see us in the depths and the roots cloaked in night and mystery. You see us in the spaces neglected and bring us home safely. Great one hear my cry, launched like wind to the purple sky hear it, Dionysos, and dismantle my pain subdue it, like a mask lifted from my face.
I call you Eleutherios so that no walls entrap me I call you Lysios, so that my tears are of joy and freedom I call you Lyaios so that my mind smiles unburdened Anthion, I call you, so that in your hands, like a garden, Iâll bloom so that in your steps I dance glad and true to the symphony of life.

A guide to worship of Dionysus - cheat sheets
Hellenic cheat sheets
đŻđ Dionysus the Liberator đđŻ
Dionysus is known by many names, including 'the Twice-Born God' and 'the Resurrected One', but my favourite one is, without a doubt, 'the Liberator'.
He is seen as a symbol of hope, as he was given a second chance at life as an infant. Having been killed as a baby in an accident, Zeus sewed his child's body to his thigh, from which Dionysus was born again.
When he was ascended to Olympus, he was done so as the Liberator of humanity, being the god of madness, ecstasy, the harvest, and hope, to name a few.
As a result, he is often depicted in art and sculpture as holding out either a libation cup or arms laden with fruit, showing how he provides for us so lovingly. He is famously shown with Eros in reliefs and sculptures, feeding and nourishing the child god; or shown with a nymph and her child, feeding them from the bushel of grapes in his arms.
The ancient Greeks celebrated his birthday on what lines up to be the 25th of December on modern calendars, and it is from Dionysus that the story of the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ came from.
Dionysus is so so much more than just the god of wine, and he doesn't deserve to have that taken away from him. He is a provider and he has cared for us for millennia, whether we realised it to the full extent or not. Praise and hail đđŻ

ideas about sigils
creating a sigil
start with a phrase or short sentence, stating your will or desire, or your end goal in present tense. âI am confident.â âI can afford rent this month.â
avoid negative language; for example, use âI will pass this testâ instead of âI will not fail this testâ
traditionally, take out vowels and repeated letters, and shape the remaining letters in an artistic way to create a symbol
you can also turn the letters into their most basic shapes
you can use cursive versions of letters, other alphabets such as the runic alphabet
you can use a sigil wheel, a letter grid, or other alphabets such as runes
you can add flourishes, little circles, extra lines and shapes
you can make a pictorial sigil if you want, manipulating symbols or other imagery (but Iâd recommend skewing them to the point where you donât actively recognize them on sight, so it can be banished easier)
you can place a boundary around your sigil (a circle, square, or triangle, for example) if you feel it will help secure the intent
activating and charging a sigil
đĽ with fire đĽ
burn it (and place in chalice or cauldron) - you can use these ashes creatively as well!
carve it into a candle and let it all melt away
draw it on a firework and set it off
â°ď¸ with earth â°ď¸
bury it and let it decompose (make sure it is biodegradable!!!)
draw it in dirt somewhere it will be worn away
craft it with twigs, leaves, stems, etc, and burn it
carve it into bark or draw it on a stone (be nice to earth, Iâd recommend doing this to loose bark, trees/stones you âownâ like potted plants or trees in your yard, or dead trees⌠use good sense!)
draw it somewhere with salt
đ with water đ
write on body in eyeliner or other makeup before bathing
carve it into a soap bar and bathe with it
draw it on something that will dissolve and dissolve it
draw on a tea bag (with something edible like honey or edible ink), steep it, and drink the tea
đ with air đ
wave it through incense
draw it on a balloon, blow it up, and pop it
draw it on a kite and fly it
⨠other neat ways â¨
use it while cooking - oil on a pan, stirring a spoon in a pot, adding sauce, pouring honey into tea, etc.
write it with something (a colored ink, essential oil, food dye, etc.) on an eggshell and crush it into eggshell powder (great for sigils and spells to do with rebirth/rejuvenation/fertility/the new moon, or others that include eggshells)
write it on a bay leaf or other leaf that corresponds with your intent - and then maybe wrap it up into a spell jar, keep it in your wallet, crush it into a powder for a spell, etc.
write it on a piece of paper with invisible ink or a white crayon
write it on a piece of paper and seal it with wax
paint it with glow in the dark paint
paint it on an empty canvas before painting something else on top
place it in a music box, wind it, and let the music charge it
place it under your pillow at night (great for sigils to do with dreams/sleep, or studying/recalling knowledge)
paint on nails before painting them with nail polish
place in sun or moonlight
draw on a foggy mirror
use it as a background on phone/computer and leave it up while charging the device
draw it on your body
focus on it while orgasming
focus on it while experience pain or another extreme emotion
add a drop of blood to the sigil
okay, so what happens next?
once you activate and charge your sigil, laying it deep down into your unconscious mind, banish it. destroy it. forget about it entirely so it can work its magic.
go do something entirely unrelated shortly afterwards, like watching a movie or cooking dinner. forget about it entirely so it can work its magic.
you may elect to display it in a place youâll see it often, but passively - such as the side of your bathroom mirror or on your fridge. the idea is to let it trigger your unconscious mind, instead of focusing on it consciously. if you find yourself thinking about it every time you see it, consider removing it.
Warding
So, i was listening to a 1h loop of Harry Styles singing the âsomebody come get your man, i think he got lost in my dmâsâ and remembered about one of the most important parts (for me) when learning witchcraft. (I know the Harry S. thing has nothing to do with the post but⌠he lovely)Â
Anyways, letâs start!
What is warding? Why do we do it? When do I do it?
Warding is the shit that protects you. Okay no. But yes. Basically they energy walls around you, or a barrier you can construct around some things like yourself, your house, your grimoire(?, etc.Â
Why do we use it? EASY BECAUSE IT MAINTAINS THINGS OUT (entities, spirits, if you amazing 10/10 powerful b!tch probably deities in one point, but is difficult child) . I worked with the spirits for the ones that donât know, and WARDS ARE IMPORTANT. (me getting hyped up i know)Â
Honestly, my house is always with wards⌠not my house⌠my room xd. As an ex spirit witch i had every shit in my room protected with a ward (im not even joking) because im ⨠anxious and scared of some spirits â¨Â so i think whenever you want the energy barrier.
How do i ward (some ways and tips for my closeted witches)
First i will say cleanse, if you have any thing inâŚ. that you donât want inâŚ. cleanse cleanse cleanse.Â
1. Cast a circle (not my favorite because closeted witch) Basically you cast a circle⌠donât you know how to do that? CHILL I GOT YOUR BACK: my post over circles. Some may ask, why donât you like this, is basic af⌠Well im a closeted witch, not that discrete.Â
. 2. Salt( not my favorite because closeted witch) Basically sprinkle salt around your house, if you are a closeted witch⌠gonna be sus mate
3. Sigils (ultimate favorite) Draw a sigil⌠with the intent of warding⌠charge and activate⌠pam. Is amazing because you can say is a doodleâŚÂ
4. Energy (discrete for the closeted witches) If you can control your energy (teach me btw) maybe imagine your intent and visualize a bubble of energy going around it. I do not use it because⌠my energy control is shit.Â
Do i have to re-do it after some time?
well its energy, is gonna fade away someday⌠sorry⌠i do it each 3 days because as i said⌠im like that xd. But it mainly depends in you! Do you wanna do it once a month? Do it⌠Do you wanât to avoid it (not the best idea)? Is your craftâŚ. BUT STAY SAFE.Â
Anyways, love you all, and here is the other âessential postâ over grounding and visualization :
