I wanted to remind people that Hong Kong is still fighting, and they are still protesting.
China has arrested people and made it so their families have no idea if they are alive or dead. China is trumping up charges on people so they will be incarcerated for life - digging up old dirt on individuals to make the charges bigger. Not to mention the abuse these people are suffering from while in jail.
Hong Kong wants to remain independent, Hong Kong does NOT want to be apart of China.

Seeing terfs demonizing Elliot Page coming out and saying "we lost a lesbian" is an important reminder that terfs target trans men with their rhetoric too. They don't exclude one group in specific when it comes to trans people, they legitimately think being trans is a danger to everyone involved.

Because my youngest sibling idolizes Elliot Page they felt comfortable coming out, I now have a little brother and I’m so stoked and excited for him to experience everything. If a TERF or anybody tries to be transphobic to him I will fight you.

The hate against bi people is unreal, I get some shit for being a gay man, but the level of homophobia bi people get is surreal. They get hate from a community that is supposed to protect and support them. Just because I am a gay man I get more privelage (as in representation and protection) then a person that is bi. That’s just not right.

bisexuals get more privilege, protection and legal rights, for being attracted to the other sex like straight ppl are. representation is a tricky call, bc almost all gay and lesbian rep is actually bisexual rep bc we’re shown fucking the opposite sex and having straight relationships all the time, but those are mislabeled gay instead of what they are, bisexual. and if you think gay ppl punch up at bisexuals from within a community where bisexuals call us genital fetishists, it wouldn’t be homophobia, bc gay ppl do not discriminate against bisexuals on the basis of our shared same sex attraction.

I’ve seen biphobia many times considering I’ve seen gay people say they’d never date a bi person in accusation they’d cheat or they’d never date someone who has been with the opposite sex. I’ve seen straight people fetishize bi people in the bedroom. I’ve also never seen genuine bi representation in shows/movies except twice? Is it really representation when it’s either only straight or a gay relationship? I’ve also seen people of the LGBTQ community yell at “straight” couples appearing at pride saying that pride is only for gay/trans people. But fine not homophobia, but biphobia.
Edit: Also considering my eldest sister is bi I can see the amount of shit she has gotten, no one should get that amount of shit for liking both genders. She has gotten crap from inside and out of the community.
