I'm Yev, I'm 20, and I love animal cuties! This blog is dedicated to the best and brightest fish and reptiles! :) Feel free to ask any questions about betta care or general fish stuff, I'll do my best to answer them or send you in the direction of someone who can! Admittedly I don't know quite as much for beardies as I have only gotten one recently! I have 2 fishy babies of my own! Pastel Pink Prince the king betta has ten gallons to roam, and Swedish Fish the rescue has 5.5 gallons all to himself!I also have a year old bearded dragon named Marmalade!

hey pals help me out here! what kind of fish is the red one? i'm thinking the little ones with the black stripes are black neon tetras and the pink one is a glolight tetra but no idea what the red guy is! (also the one black neon tetras is pregnant)

looking for advice!

i'm reaching out to the bird side of tumblr because i'm getting a parrot! i plan on doing lots of research once i decide on who i'm getting but i honestly don't know where to start! i've owned little parakeets in the past so i've got some grasp bird care and my boyfriend has an african grey and a green wing macaw who i frequently interact with as well. I'd like a medium sized bird, between a small conure and large parakeet sized, my mom would really like a bird who can talk a bit, and i really want someone friendly who likes to interact and cuddle a lot. Any advice on who to look into?

Started dosing carbonate almost every day and the duckweed in Scylla’s tank has just exploded.  Everything’s tinted green now no matter what I focus on :P

Facebook tossed this picture at me from the “memories” folder today. My last betta, Gaston, looking his best. He was such a great fish.

After I renew my lease and I know for sure I’m not moving again I’m going to get another fish.

Can you believe I got him because he was the ugliest betta at walmart two years ago? He used to be a sickly flesh color and now he’s my proud little pink boy

His blue eyes are what earned him the name Ringo (Ringo is the only member of the Beatles that has blue eyes). Im SO glad he stopped biting his gorgeous fins off! The color hasn’t really gone back into the spots that regrew (and it’s been so long that at this point I think they’ll remain colorless) but that’s okay because he’s still beautiful!
