I am genuinely SO tired of seeing the "kill it with fire" comments anytime there is a spider mentioned or shown anywhere on the internet.

So here are some photographs I've taken of spiders over the years to show how absolutely beautiful they can be.

I am begging people to educate themselves and take a hold of their fear of spiders because it is a taught fear and you can undo it by learning. I used to also be arachnophobic. And even so, your fear does not justify being cruel and outright mean to a creature that is virtually harmless to you, as many of these comments are said about species that have venom that is nowhere near medically significant to humans. And that's ignoring the fact that most spiders do not want to bite you.

I don't know, I'm just tired. Be kind to bugs, be kind to arachnids.
