I was in shambles watching this conversation between Nami and Usopp because they are one of the two duos I expected to see the most this season. Unlike the manga, where every relationship is more subtle, opla has opted for more direct and heartfelt conversations between characters that really establish the type of relationship between them. Like Zoro and Nami drinking their traumas away in season 1, Nami and Usopp talking about remembering where they come from and how far they're going to go here and later in the season; and more, but we'll talk about them later.
I love it, these types of conversations are very rare in the manga and I'm glad I can see them here.

I love how the live action makes it clear that deep down all the Straw Hats are in love with each other on some kind of metaphysical plane of multiversal platonicism and that it doesn’t matter which ship you like you’re going to get a little bit of all of them because they wouldn’t choose anyone over the others. They’re one big whole.

One of my few complaints about OPLA season 1 was that they didn’t make Zoro stupid enough, and I’m happy to report that season 2 corrected this error with gusto. He’s SO stupid. Couldn’t find his way out of a paper bag. Just one single braincell rattling around upstairs.
we've got you
zoro is very normal about his captain
