Anatomy of a liquid concealer (those bastards)
I’m currently working on a series of bothanical identification, kind of a written and illustrated diary of my discoveries. I’m loving to get to know the plants better! I already liked them but now it has turned into a slight obsession haha I’m posting it all on instagram (@biancanazari) and I intend to get them published until the end of the year! Still don’t know if I’m going to translate it (I don’t even know if there’s public for that) but let’s see :)
One of my fondest memories: when I was a kid my dad used to lay out an air mattress on the grass of our backyard and we'd stare at the starry sky and talk about the planets, galaxies, the universe, life and how little we are amongst all of this <3
Just a study based on a photo reference by Jane Aldridge from the Sea of Shoes. I tried topush my limits on not contouring the illustration! It’s so much harder for me to do just colors and define the limits with color instead of lines, but it was a cool experiment! Makes it lighter, I guess :)
Fanart of Stranger Things I made because these two are pure gold! I didn’t know the Fabergé products really existed in the 80′s, but when I googled it and found this magazine ad of them I simply had to make this. This print will be available at my table at Brazilian Comic Con, 7 - 10/12/2017.
Homage to São Paulo, the beloved city in wich I live :) Old São Paulo always gets me, so beautiful!

My wine adventure for inktober #11 I had to clean the whole thing up afterward AND with no wine whatsoever sad day haha
Inktobers 09 and 10, all about foodies
Inktober day 02 through 08. I’m catching up!
I’ve started and have been posting inktober on the right date, but I forgot to upload it here on tumblr! But here it is, my first entry of inktober 2017! This year my theme is “illustrated diary”, so I’m drawing things that happened specifically on that date! I’m always excited about inktober, love watching all of my friends and other amazing artists do theirs too :)
A small story telling about the day I tripped over and fell into the stinky mud on the street while chasing a bus. Yep, true story
Some watercolors I did for a wedding invitation. Tropical flowers and leaves was the theme!
Earlier this year I worked on this project called “Bedtime Stories”, basically a cell phone app for parents do read stories for their kids, only the fairy tales we know would have links to brazilian soccer teams. Depending on the soccer team the parents cheered for, they would chose in the app and then the heroes would all be dressed in those team’s uniforms, and the villains would be dressed in the rival’s uniforms. There are 5 stories illustrated for the app, and mine was “Jack and the Beanstalk”. This image is one of the pages I illustrated for the story. It was very gratifying to work on this project!! Learned a lot about scenery, character design and color palette. And it also got a Silver Lion at Cannes Festival 2017!
Messy chair phenomenon :D Did it for the latest video of my vlog, talking about living alone.
Late mermay in june! Loving this flat designs and a reduced color palette :)
Going back on doing traditional illustrations is HARD! But I wanted to film it for my new video so I took a risk haha This illustration is basically showing what my daily life used to be about a year ago (working as an architect by day and drawing for myself by night) and how it is today (working as an illustrator by day and exhausted at night) You can check my video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcKKi1Rd2Uc
