she asks if you would like to buy it. you sigh and hand over the money. best to keep it out of the wrong hands.

although, now that you think about it, the worst hands it could have been in had just handed it over for a few thousand mora.

I can't stop thinking about them, so here, have some stell4r / alyvodettya headcanons I've been cooking up

Late night rehearsals that turn into theater sleepovers are surprisingly common

Alyosha is by far the best cook of the group. Odette is fine, but her meals are usually made for her so she doesn’t have much practice. Vodyanitsa can do simple things but more complex meals fall apart. Mitya treats cooking like another experiment and cannot be trusted alone in a kitchen after starting 3 consecutive fires

Vodyanitsa has an army of stuffed animals that she regularly gives her partners to hold onto when they’re away

Aloysha has the potential to be a great performer, but he is adamant about sticking to behind the scenes work

The three have devised elaborate ways to hide Mitya throughout the theater when Valeriy comes looking. These include (but are most definitely not limited to), hiding in props, quick change costumes, and a series of signals amongst the stagehands.

He was mistaken as a background actor at one point and had to be recused before he was thrown onstage

Tugarin is spoiled rotten by all of them and is all too happy to join in on the cuddle piles

Alyosha uses his access to get show tickets for people in the rural towns and villages, and even gets vip meet and greets for kids

Odette and Alyosha often train and work out together 

It's not uncommon for them to spend time at Alyosha’s cabin to get away from the city

Odette, Vodyanitsa, and Alyosha are still trying to work out how to tell Mitya about the Rokot stuff. They all want to know what he’s getting up to with his research, but they don’t want to break his trust either. 

Odette and Vodyanista are constantly the subject of relationship rumors and fake scandals. The group finds these deeply entertaining and will do dramatic readings of them

Mitya forgets not everyone is as smart as him (tho all of them are very smart people don’t misunderstand) and will just casually say or reference something that none of them have never heard of bc he assumes it's common knowledge 

Mitya will endlessly praise Odette and Vodyanitsa’s work, but Alyosha is who they go to when they want critique (He still gives his praise dw)

Odette once tried to teach Mitya to dance. He nearly twisted his ankle and almost broke a crystal vase

Vodyanitsa has a habit of falling asleep in Alyosha’s lap. He doesn’t have the heart to wake her up so he’s stuck until she gets up on her own

anyway i was dead fucking wrong about that last part. i hate personal technologies now. i miss having an ipod that doesnt advertise shit to me and i miss when my htc wildfire didnt harass me 45 times a day to install an ai assistant and then install it anyway when i say no and i miss when the internet wasnt 5 websites all of which i have to log into and i miss when i didnt need an app to talk to my landlord. sorry past me you were actually right about 2009

Her obsession over boxes feels like both a metaphor for finding a home and like, something related to dysphoria somehow? With the way she wears it, it's like finally turning your body into a home. And with her delivering these boxes, it either could be a metaphor for trans activism or js a desire for people to find a home too...

Chiori was the one who helped her find the outfit she wears today, which is described as both aestheticslly pleasant and comfortable for Kirara without forcing her to melt into stereotypes or something.

oky i'm not done all the quests so i might be wrong but why is it that these guys are always antagonists and usually picking on the smaller fae

do we think maybe that's indicative of how hoyo thinks of, say, certain real life minorities that are often stereotyped as big, strong and threatening.

(the character in this image isn't to my knowledge an antagonist but so far in all the minor quests i've done they've been antagonists. which is interesting)

extremely sus if u ask me. like sure it's not all that deep but when u analyse it properly that leaves us with 2 questions - what social/systemic pressures led specifically the larger volkodlak to be forced into violent crime at a higher rate than humans and other fae (only applicable under the assumption that hoyo did this on purpose) OR, as i said before, what does this say about hoyoverse and their attitudes towards irl minorities who are stereotyped as big and threatening.

I was exploring and noticed that the majority of fae enemies are the large volkdaks and in a word quest only smaller fae and the curiosa like fae are the sympathetic ones however the larger fae is the main villain

LITERALLY like it's more of an even spread than i originally thought but it's ONLY the volkodlaks that are antagonistic in wqs and when there are 'good' volkodlaks they're always the smaller ones (or the ones hoyo thinks they can sexualise) and it's like. way to tell on yourself good lords

i just hate how they did the fae overall. these are just furries and the rest of them (apart from jack frosts) are 'human plus wings/blue skin/funky ears/a tail occasionally' like give me some actual hybrid looking shit or the real creepy fae.

Yhis is actually based off the more canon phrasing of Nahida acknowledging Apep's energy signature and her ability to mimic it as a dendro archon, which fonally made me understand WHY elements have diffwrent signatures per character- it's like atoms being areanged, and it can cause different colors and qualities based on how its trained.

Since Visions rely on ambition however, I made ir more emotional because it is inherently fueled bu emotion in Teyvat. The Traveler's is especially easy to read and manipulate for archons because it was borrowed from them, or maybe it isn'r because it wasn't born from their emotions. Either way, this headcanon gives me brain worms...

IDRC im a multishipper i just hate traveler as an entity bc they don't have enough concrete characterisation for ME to enjoy shipping them with anyone. I should note this elemental stuff is technically canon to a degree. For example, Nahida can mimic Apep's elemental energy, and the most distinct of them all, Neuvillette is able to precisely identify the origins of water.

for the average human, to be able to sense an oddity in water, it has to be am extremeties of water properties. Like that fear juice from wriothesley's quest

The hydro hypostasis is also able to control a distinct type of wayer that repels actual water like mercury.

All gods usually create a new species that usually goes extinct once they die, inherently tied to their elemental affinity, but someone like Emilie notes she is unable to create a new species of plant no matter what she does. This is another evidence of a certain elemental densitivity if you think abt it

It's heavily reliant on emotion and ambition, it's just that genshin has enough of a "science" to it that the emotional stuff doesn't do bullshit 😭😭

It seems to be that godhood is less the ability to create big blasts (for example, Shenhe could freeze a god's fucking tsunami), but rather the ability to modify the elements to an atomic level and especially across a wide enough area to manipulate the weather and create entirely new species.

i do like it when it's emotions-based but has limits. that is my favourite thing actually since u can get some really good character moments out of it. idk more like emotions taking over and your subconscious kicking in to do something you could already do but with difficulty. like drops in circus where you have to grab something as it falls past you. if u overthink it you'll fuck up but usually your hand will just land there and instinct will take over yk

since visions are reliant on ambition i would expect it but they've been pretty good with it so far, for the most part only doing things that they've already established is possible.

would gods be like. pure elemental energy? like how venti is pretty much made of wind and can drop his body whenever he wants (idk if that's canon or my hc atp ngl), it's just a big mass of elemental energy swirling around in a vaguely human/dragon-shaped form.

It also seems to me that they're pretty close to a big mass of elemental energy with the way Nahida was able to shapeshift and how other elemental spirits in general can adjust their forms to their liking.., mm i fhink they're at least VERY spiritually connected to an element if nothing else, but the overally composition of an archon is still pretty ambiguous. I'll try to look into it eventually.

yea i have in my au that they're not like actually made of proper flesh, it's only like. temporary flesh if that makes sense. and it kinda feels different, so venti is way too light and matches the temperature of the air outside even if where he is is vastly different, zhongli is just weirdly hard, ei feels like she's constantly giving u little static shocks whenever u touch her aibhne is made of hot metal, etc

but i don't think that's canon so it's just a cool lil worldbuilding idea for now.
