Sometimes I think about how hard the eliatropes fell off and I get so sad

Wakfu has always had “had great potential that didn’t get executed the best way” for a lot of their stuff but seeing how so much of the Eliatropes unique and compelling lore get retconned or glanced over later on is so devastating 🥲 It’s not that the plot is bad per say but it doesn’t deliver the impact it’s tragedy should have

The hundreds of eliatrope children who were stuck in a pocket dimension after losing their parents in a war for ten thousand+ years? Nah they are now just a bunch of lifeless background characters who do whatever the plot needs with no individual aspirations or grievances of their own.

#I’m gonna go insane #when I was a kid and I joined the wakfu fandom #the eliatrope culture and history seemed so interesting #they deserved so much better #WHY.
